December 2nd, 2015:
I had ended up having to sit to the side for the following two concerts out of precaution to not injure my ankle more. I hated it. But the boys did a good job of keeping me involved and interacting with me. I just felt bad for the boys and ARMY for once again messing things up for these concerts/comeback.
The RUN music video was released on the 30th and it was getting really positive reviews. We were currently in Hong Kong for MAMA and would be performing it for only the first time live. We were all standing backstage waiting to get the green light to go on stage for our red-carpet interview. The boys were all in casual suit attires. I was in a short black dress with a cinched waist and transparent sleeves paired with black bootie heels. My pastel purple hair was down and stylised with nice volume and waves.
As per usual at these red carpets, the stairs to get to the stage were unusually large. However, this time, the boys remembered me, and Yoongi helped me up while Taehyung stood right behind me to protect me since the dress was quite short. Namjoon does the majority of the speaking and two minutes later were back backstage.
"Why do they make the stairs so large?" I complain as we walked to the main stage.
"Just to annoy you," Yoongi chuckles.
I roll my eyes.
"It's inconsiderate to those that have to wear heels... it's hard enough as it is," I keep complaining.
"Make an official complaint, maybe they'll change it," Seokjin jokes.
"Maybe I will," I answer, thinking it was actually a good idea. If I got other idols to join in, maybe they would consider the struggles of us heel-wearers.
We got to a waiting area where other idols were mingling. Jungkook got together with the friend he had slowly formed with the male 97 liners. Initially, I had been an active member, but after a while, I started to feel alienated. I was the only girl, and the other boys weren't used to a girl and didn't really involve me. I don't think they did it on purpose, they just didn't know what to do with me and I got it.
To my horror, however, San E spotted me alone given the boys had either gone off with friends or the washroom, and decided to start a conversation.
"How's it going Y/N?" he asks.
"I'm good," I give him a small, tiny flash of a smile, "how about you sunbaenim".
"Much better now my interview is done," he chuckles, "aren't those interviews so boring".
"I don't know..." I reply, "I guess it's different since we're a group".
"Maybe," he nods, "and the fact people probably look forward to you guys. I mean who wouldn't when they have a member with such a killer body".
He looks at me up and down smiling. I flatten my dress down as much as I could out of discomfort.
