The clock on the bedside table read three o'clock in the morning. The woman on the bed was wide awake. Turning on her side, she sighed when she saw the time and regretted her decision to not take her sleeping pills.

A poor decision on her part and she hadn't been able to sleep. When she finally shut her eyes close, she had to face her worst nightmare. Migyung taking away everything from her once again.

Shaking her head, Mijung sat up, seeing no point in trying to catch some sleep. Ever since Migyung set foot in the academy again, she hadn't been able to get rest. She was continuously worried about what she would do or rather why she was there when she had been protesting the offer so vigorously before.

It made no sense to her and this time, things weren't even in her hand anymore. Turning on the shower, she could only hope her chance to be Giselle wouldn't be sabotaged this time either. Surely, Migyung wouldn't be so petty.

Out of the two of them, Migyung had always been the empathetic one, a person who looked at the greater good. A fool who placed everyone, even a stranger before herself. In their childhood, it had aggravated her immensely. She hadn't wanted her twin being taken advantage of just because she was too kind-hearted.

And yet, she had been the one to hurt her sister the most.

The reminder of that night made her clench her hands into tight fists, her chest feeling stuffy as she tried to remember what exactly was going through her head. Was she really that drunk, that high just over a boy to spew all that nonsense?

Insane, that's what she was. To have pushed her sister, her twin, her other half so away with her own hands. It hurt her, it haunted her and it scared her knowing Migyung could destroy her life. But despite everything, despite the guilt, she was a greedy person and she wouldn't let go so easily.

What had Kang Hei Ryung said back then? Ah, yes, "You two ceased to be sisters the moment you decided to become rivals."

And Migyung was her rival still. She was still Kim Migyung's twin sister and not Kim Mijung. It was as if she didn't exist in the world and so, she had decided to let her presence known no matter the cost.

Migyung could hate her all she wanted for clipping her wings but it was necessary because Mijung was tired of being the second choice, the replacement to Kim Migyung. A person who always had everything naturally wouldn't know what it felt like to come in second in every phase of their life. Therefore, she had no expectations from Migyung to be able to understand her. It was best she didn't.

She wouldn't be able to survive the humiliation the goody two shoes' pity would induce.
