So, let's get this story started.
What I have previously stated, that my life was kinda dull and boring, well, it was. Until one night. A night like any other. I was on my way to bed, walked up my stairs, opened my door, the usual. Well, when I got in bed, right before my eyes fully closed, I saw a piercing white light for about a millisecond, just long enough for me to notice it.
I opened my eyes faster than the light could escape but the only thing I noticed was a little green dot in the crack between my wall and my bed. I made an attempt to grab at it but it disappeared into the blackness and left me with a pain in my hand from hitting my wall. This event was really concerning but, somehow I got to sleep.
When I woke up the next day, things seemed really off. It was like time wasn't really moving around me. I first noticed this when I was going to take a shower. I turned my shower dial to the on position and nothing came out. Which wasn't really all that weird to me, sometimes our water pipes do a weird thing and don't really work. So, I walk downstairs in my pajamas to find my mother and her boyfriend to tell them to fix the pipes. To my surprise, when I walked downstairs, my house was completely empty. Not from the absence of my parents, but of all the furniture as well.
Then, the house started shaking.
