A quiet chittering sound filled the night air as Thea walked along the dark road, surrounded by trees, headed for the bus stop.

"Thea Hartley." A low, mechanical voice calls out from the night.

Thea spun around on her heel, putting her hands into tight fists, trying to find the source of the voice, but nothing was there.

"It's just in your head." The girl whispered to herself.

"Thea Hartley, your condition improves." The voices calls out again.

A gut wrenching scream escaped her, reaching her hands back past her head, trying to grasp onto whoever or whatever held her by her hair and was dragging her across the street like road kill.

Thea had begun kicking her legs so her weight could throw her attacker over her, but it was no use.
Thea's cries for help echoed through the forest as she tried to find whatever strength she had left to fight.

Until one sound louder than any cry interrupts her.
A roar.

Thea attacker released their grip, she turned to face them, three weirdly dressed men, ones who look exactly like the dread doctors from Theo's book stood in front of her.

Thea scrambled to her feet preparing for a fight, but is met with Theo.

The look of horror is painted on her face as she sees him standing still, like a deer in headlights.
His glowing golden eyes, sharp claws, and deadly fangs are all Thea can see, all she can see is a monster.

"Are you okay?" The werewolf runs up to the terrified girl, expecting a thank you of sorts.

"You stay away from me, I said stay away!" Thea whimpered, putting her arms out in front of her as a poor attempt of defence.

"Thea it's me." He pleaded, taking slow steps toward her.

"No! You- you're a monster!" Thea cried. "For all I know you could've killed my father!"

"Thea I just saved you, I risked my life for you." Putting his hand to his chest as walks closer to her, faster than before.

"Just get away from me!" Thea shreaked, causing Theo to stop in he tracks.
She bit down on her bottom lip holding in her sobs, her eyes's focus darted around the street trying to find something, anything familiar in this new world of monsters and death.

"Please." She sighed in defeat, her sentence being cut off by her own gasps for air.
The feeling of a thick, evil darkness crawled under her skin, standing still, all she could think about was clawing at her skin to get rid of the overwhelming feeling, she started to rub hands over arms trying to clean the fear off of her.

"Thea? Thea!" Theo's calls faded out as she stumbled to the ground.
One hand holding her weight on the black hardened tar that covered the road, the other Gripping tight to her chest as it convulsed.

Theo dropped to the ground next to her, resting his hand on her back, trying to comfort her.
"I need to get you out of here, I'm going to help you up, okay?"

Thea left him without a response, so he has no choice but to pull her from the ground wrapping his arm around her waist to help carry her weight.

Before Thea could figure out what was happening, she was already pulling up in her driveway, sat in the passenger seat of Theo's car.

Theo helped her out of his car, resuming the old position of his hand wrapped around her waist.
He broke the door nob to get into the house, rushing Thea upstairs to the nearest bathroom.

He placed the panicked girl in the bath gently as tears streamed down her face, not getting enough air in her lungs to let out a sob.
Cold Water gushed into the bathtub with clothed Thea in it.

As he lent over Thea to turn up the water pressure, she wrapped her arms around him, for he was the only thing that could ground her again.
Gripping tight to his dark grey shirt, she finally could breathe, sobbing into the nook of his neck.

"It's okay, I would never hurt you, not ever." Theo comforted, not realising how much weight those words carry.
