Stiles Jogged through the murky puddles in the tunnels before he finally reaching the other two, who seemed to be having just as little luck as he was.

"Nothing." Theo sighed as he and Thea walked up to stiles, meeting him halfway in the tunnel.

Stiles rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Great. You're just as useless as I am."

Thea hit him a look of "hey! I'm here too."

"What? Did you find anything?" Stiles asked, already knowing the answer.

"No—but you don't have to be a dick to me, that's what Theo's here for." Thea sighed. "I don't take criticism well. You know that."

"You'll live." He shrugged, starting to walk again, turning back the way he came in order to enter a new tunnel.
"Come on Thea, bring your pet chimera too."

Theo, who was clearly reaching the end of his rope where Stiles' attitude was concerned, grabbed his shoulder to make stiles face him again as snarled angrily at him.
"I'm trying to help save Lydia's life!"

"Would you just drop the altruistic crap?" Stiles groaned in frustration, shoving Theo's arm off of him, his temper long gone. "You want Lydia because she gets you to Parrish. You want Parrish because he gets you to the Beast."

"So what? I want it dead, too. It's a win-win situation."

"Only after you take its power, right? We know why you got the talons, and we know you're looking for Deucalion."

Theo couldn't help but smirk smugly at this last remark, knowing he, yet again, had the upper hand.
"I already found Deucalion."

Thea let a sudden look of shock been thrown Theo's way, he was a completely different person than he was not even five minutes ago, he was holding back tears over her not forgiving him and now he was back to plotting some evil plan.
Every time she thought Theo was a good person deep, deep down, he did something that proved otherwise, which only made Thea even more unsure of herself.
Was Theo just some messed up, traumatised teenage boy who had a soft spot for her? Or was he just manipulating her?

Stiles gave theo a look as though to say, "Thank you for proving my point," as Theo sighed in annoyance at Stiles's attitude.

"You're right. I'm going to help Parrish stop the Beast. I'm going to take its power. And then, I'm going to break its neck. So, maybe I'm not the good guy in your eyes,"
Theo paused, changing his tone from frustration to a more calm version of the emotion when he looked in Thea's direction, her presence reappearing in the conversation even though she stayed silent. "but I might end up being the guy that saves all your asses."

Something about what Theo said gave Stiles a dawning realization about how to find Lydia, his eyes widening in surprise when he figured it out.
He gestured toward the pipes on the wall and quickly changes the subject.
"Break it."

Theo looked at Stiles, not understanding what he was trying to say.
"What?"

"The sound travels through the pipe."

Theo continued to stare at Stiles blankly, an expression that him and Thea shared causing Stiles to sigh in frustration.

"You'll hear better, dumbass. Break it!"
