"What's the plan for today, Mew?"
"No plans I guess."
"As always I see. How about a dinner? The treat is on me."
"Thank you Gun. But I'm tired. Let's go next time."
"Ah!" Gun sighed. "You always say this. But never join. Aren't you fed up of the same schedule? Plus I'm tired of work too. Can't I ask for spending some good relaxing time with my work partner?"
"Of course you can. But I'm really not in a mood for going out. I lost interest in that a long ago."
Gun patted Mew's back. "I know man. You still miss him, right?"
Mew glanced at Gun before nodding slowly.
"Mew. Listen to me. If he had been here, he would have never wanted to see you all sad and depressed. If he's watching you, he would want to see you happy isn't it?" Gun embraced him in a warm hug. "Stop living this kind of shitty life and make some happy moments for yourself. Dinner, going out are not part of some happiness but they give us memories. Some good relaxing memories. You should relax sometime. You're working so hard bro. It makes me worried sometimes. "
Mew smiled and hugged him back.
" I understand. You're worried for me. Thanks a lot for talking it out. I feel a lot better. I've to go home. We'll definitely go somewhere next time alright? "Gun nodded happily and they bid their goodbyes.
After coming home, Mew took off his coat and put it on the stand. It's been six months and his foots knew where to step. It has became a habit. While loosening up his tie, he walked over the garden area where a guy was sitting on chair.
"Babe! I'm home." Mew cheered happily as he turned the wheelchair to see his lover.
"Let me have a look. Did you missed me? Hmm?" Mew rubbed his hands as he kneeled down in front of him."Were you bored? Is Maria taking good care of you? Were you watching butterflies here?" Mew kept talking as he ruffled his bouncy brown hairs and gave a little peck on cheek.
"You know Gun asked me to go out again. But I refused. I wanted to see you. Honestly, now I think he's really not a bad person. He helped me get this job plus he always gives me a company."
"But don't worry! As I promised, I'll never do anything that will make you mad. You know on my way, there were two kids wh-"
"Sir, please go and get changed first. The bath is ready and I'll serve dinner." A woman in her late thirties showed up with a warm smile.
"Oh Maria! You never let us talk." He pouted as he got up.
"Sorry Sir. But you need to be clean or Sir Gulf won't like it."
"Is it so? Okay then I'll be there in 5. Take care of him." Mew said and ran towards the upstairs.
Maria chucked. "Sir Mew is still a baby when it comes to you. It's time for your medicines Gulfie. Let's go."
She took him in a hallway.
"Look here...open you mouth. Very good Gulfie. You really remind of my son. Such a cute boy. I wonder how your voice sounds like." She put the medicines back into the box before closing it.
"Sir Mew is working really hard. He loves you so much. I've been watching him for six months now. Get well soon quickly. I've heard your progress reports were amazing? Is it true? Of course it is. I'm so proud of you Gulfie.
Are you hungry?""Yes."
"Sir Mew. I was asking to Sir Gulf. Not you."
"Oh! No worries I'll feed him."
"Sir, don't you think you should eat some nutrients too?"
"This has nutrients too right?" Mew asked while pointing towards the liquid.
