"I hate you!" Gulf could sense the amount of pain in those words.
"I freaking hate you for leaving me then."
He knew how the boy was feeling."I thought I was important to you. But no, all this time, I was nothing to you!"
"You were! And you still are. Stop crying!" Gulf said and leaned forward to give the trembling boy a hug but was immediately pushed back.
"Shut up! Don't fucking lie in front of me! And I want to cry. Who are you to stop me huh? We're not like how we used to be earlier."
"Then cry. But remember I'm sorry." Was the only thing Gulf could say.
"You!" He snapped back. "Yeah why will you even care? Who I'm to you anyways..." He broke down again as Gulf saw his tears flowing out again. "You're such a heartless person Gulf!"
Gulf wanted to speak but the words didn't came out so he remained silent.
He wanted to tell him, how much importance he has. How much he matters to him, but in the end he only left the spot, went inside his room and locked it along with all the pain.__________________________
"What's wrong with you?" Mew asked.
"Listen, Mew. You better not talk to me. I don't want to listen to your story anyways!"
"Whatever! I also don't want to waste my time! But if you make him sad-"
"I made him sad? Was he too busy to call? Even a single message Mew! A single message would be enough! He didn't even knew how much....how much...." He took a deep breath as his throat was heavy from too much crying.
"...How much I was scared? I was hurt. How much worried I was to just see a single strand of his hair and to know that he's fine. Was I too wrong to worry about my only best friend?"Mew sighed. "No, Bright. You are not wrong. But listen to his side of story too!"
"What story? He has been in Thailand for more than a year and he hasn't contacted me?"
"The thing is-" Mew stopped as he grabbed Bright's one arm. "No! Actually come and watch yourself."
He dragged Bright inside and Bright followed without protesting.
He then stopped in the mid of hall. He turned to Bright. "Gulfie! Bright wants to tell you something!" He shouted while still looking at Bright. They heard some muffling sounds from the room. "Gulf you're not clear enough. Come out babe!"
The door creaked opened, revealing a tired Gulf. He slowly walked towards the wall. Staring at both of them. "Tell me something or yelling at me till I give up on breathing?"
"No! He really wants to tell you something so come down. Quick!" Mew waved his hand at Gulf.
"Better stay quiet." He then whispered into Bright's ear.Bright remained silent as Gulf started walking downwards after an audible sigh.
"Gulf! Quick!""You know I cant. Wait, alright?" Mew could see how pissed Gulf was.
Bright noticed Gulf's movements were really slow. He will lift his one foot to stride while other will be resting peacefully. There's no continues movement. He turned to Mew with questions in his eyes.
"That's what I was trying to say. He's still not well. He still buffers sometimes while speaking and can't walk really properly. Now you understand why he didn't contacted you?" Mew snapped at Bright.
"Because he couldn't. He just started walking a month ago."
Mew sighed. "He had an accident. I'll tell you the whole story later. Stay quiet for now."
