"Grandma, you need to stop saying this now!" Mew sighed in frustration.

"Why? Am I saying something wrong? Don't you love him anymore?" Grandma defended herself.

"You know that can never happen.."

"Then why can't you forgive him? He didn't committed a crime, Mew!"

"He literally hide it from me!" Mew raised his voice a little.

"But things are under control now!"

"But he still hid it! That can't change, right?" Mew looked at her, waiting for a appropriate reply.

Grandma sighed in defeat. She knew how stubborn Mew was so she stood up and left the room saying "I hope you both reconcile as soon as possible. Don't make it worse if he comes and apologise."

She said and closed the door, leaving Mew with empty room and thousands of thoughts roaming around the thick atmosphere.
Gulf checked the time. It was already evening. He must be cool by now.
Gulf thought as he slowly creek the door open. He peeked inside and slowly tip toed after making sure Mew wasn't in sight.

"Mind telling me where were you this whole time?"

The sudden voice caused Gulf to flinch and jump a little over his spot. He turned to see Mew standing, folding his hands over his chest, staring right into his orbs.

"I-"

"And if you're going to lie just because you're hiding something again, don't say anything."

"Mew it's not-"

"Just go to your room and rest. Goodnight."

"Mew at least hear me out!"

"I'm not in a mood to argue with you right now...Gulf!" Mew snapped back, his voice still calm but Gulf could sense the waves of irritation.
"The food is in fridge. Tell me when you're hungry I'll reheat it." Mew said and walked towards his room when he felt a grip forming around his wrist.

"Can't you just listen to me? Is it that of a big deal?" Gulf's voice came out cold and laced with anger.

Mew chuckled as he noticed. "If these are your questions, then no and yes."

"What have I done? I'm standing right in front of you! Alive. Isn't it enough? May be I should've died so you must have been all happy grieving over my-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP, GULF! CAN YOU NOT-"

"CAN I NOT WHAT? YOU CAN'T EVEN STAND ME SPEAKING NOW?"

"SO NOW YOU'RE GOING TO BLAME IT ALL ON ME? AS IF IT WAS ME WHO WASN'T BEING HONEST HUH?" Mew yelled back in response.

"When was I not? I didn't mean to hide it but just because...it wasn't much important of a thing to be told."

Mew remain silent as he tried processing Gulf's words.
"Not much of important?" Mew repeated the words and Gulf internally cursed himself for what he just said.

"Of course it wasn't. That doctor was just scaring me. That idiot said I was going to die but I proved him wrong! Can't you see the positive side? Can't you see-"

"Do you think the doctor said something serious out of predictions? Do you think a little meditation and healthy food can do some magic to you?"

"I know it cant but it's been an year and I'm still alive let's focus on that can we? At least....at least the period extended." Gulf looked down as he whispered the last sentence.

Mew heard soft sniffing noises from younger and that was when he realised he himself was crying.
He softly held Gulf into his embrace. He felt so weak. They felt so weak.
"You're such an idiot, you know?"
Mew's voice came out hoarse and cracked.
