I didn't know what to do and because of that, I barely had any words.

Mate.

He was simply breathtaking. The man stood at 6'7 and thick muscle, it wasn't like bodybuilder muscle but it was muscle. He looked like his hug would be so warm and he could caccoon me with his arms. His eyes were so green, it's like they sparkled and that's not me saying this because of what he meant to me, this was just pure fact.

His buzz cut hair was black and he had a light short beard and his nose was pierced. He smiled and I swear nothing else mattered anymore, I wanted to live in his smile.

You're drooling. Trevor chuckled at me and I swallowed and looked down at my lap.

Leave me alone. I was pouting now and I glanced at him to see him smirking at me from across the table. His mate was Keegan and they had met at a club, I still remember how nervous he was about this date, how scared of rejection he had been and now as I could smell their shared arousal, he was so relaxed with his mates hand on his thigh.

I glared at my cousin. You should just jump him. He said into my mind and the thought immediately flashed in my mind. I wanted to through my fork at him and I was thankful he did this while the two were having their own friendly banter about the nature of their friendship.

You are mental. He laughed out loud, drawing their attention and I quickly stuffed my salmon in my mouth and glared before looking away.

"You like fish?"

I swallowed and choked to have heard him speak to me. I turned to Terrence without thinking about not using my whole body to do this and nearly spilled his drink. "Shoot, I'm sorry." He chuckled as everything stabilized and I tried not to love an inch.

"No worries." His eyes were so green as he looked at me and I wanted this moment never to end.

"I like meat too." I whispered still recalling his question which I felt probably would have lead to weather or not I'm a pescatarian.

He chuckled and nodded. "Is it good then?" He nodded to my plate and I pushed it towards him.

"You can have a bite, if you like."

"Only if you'll have a bite of mine." After recalling my cousin's comment, I flushed because of the fact that meat could also be something else entirely that a person could still put in their mouth without chewing on of course.

I cleared my throat and smiled shyly. He cut a piece from his stake and then placed it on my plate, then he cut from my salmon and moved it to his mouth. I took the stake and watched him chew. His jaw was so attractive to me in that moment that I felt my body shiver and blood rush down.

Ew. I coughed and drank water eying Trevor who was making a funny face at me after speaking into my mind.

I'm gonna block you. I threatened then, only to widen my eyes when I felt a hand on my back. I coughed again at the feeling of my mates touch on my back.

"You okay?"

I nodded smiling and drank water. "I got distracted swallowing." He grinned and laughed.
