Terrence
I was working out, trying to put my energy into something other than Dakota. Poor guy, he probably thought I was some kind of sex maniac. I chuckled to myself as I thought this and saw Keegan.
"Sup." He nodded sipping his protein shake and sighing.
"So, I hear you've met the parents."
"I hear your planning a June wedding." He smirked at me as I did my last set and huffed, I wiped the sweat off my face with my towel and sat down on a bench as Keegan takes my place on the machine.
"I say nothing." He declared as his face became focused. When we finished and our muscles ached in the way we liked, we sat at the small restaurant attached to the gym. Its food was always good and healthy.
We sat down waiting for our vegetarian wraps and drank our smoothies.
"So, how deep is it?" I looked up from my phone where I was staring at pictures of Dakota and I and Dakota by himself.
"What do you mean?"
"You know," he shrugged and he tried to see nonchalant but I had the feeling he wanted to tell me something. "His family? How are they?" He pursed his lips.
"You mean, aside from them being werewolves?" He looked up at me and searched my eyes, Keegan looked around then and stared at me.
"You know?" I smirked and shook my head. "Since when?"
"It's been a while, man, stay in the loop." I chuckled because Trevor had only just told him the truth a week ago and had been crying to Dakota as soon as he did that he freaked out and left without saying a word.
"Why didn't you tell me?" I looked back at him to see his frown. "I thought we were friends." I put my phone down and sighed.
"You are, you always will be. This wasn't exactly my secret to tell."
"But I'm your friend."
"And he's my mate." He pursed his lips and squinted at me. "You know what it feels like, Trevor is yours too. You wanna tell me that you brought this up without asking him if you could."
He licked his lips. "I can't believe this." He folded his arms over his chest and then leaned forward. "But like, can you imagine? Wolves that turn into people? It's insane. Did he show you."
I smiled at the memory of Dakota as a wolf, he was just so adorable it hurt.
"Trevor is like huge, like, I can't even begin to tell you man. It's like, normal wolves are babies compared to him." I nodded and laughed.
"He's a regular wolf, you should see their Alpha." I nodded and he tapped and basically leaned back in his chair in defeat.
"But like, isn't it weird?" I looked at him then and our food came. He waited until the coast was clear. "All this time and we never even knew they existed? Apperently their all over the world too." I nodded knowing this already.
"Yep, vampires too."
Keegan paused and stared at me. "What?" His mouth fell open and I pursed my lips wondering how he didn't ask. "No way. Should we like, get garlic or something?" He started looking around at everyone. I laughed and shook my head.
