Darai's POV:
"Drew, baby. I'm gonna have to call you back."
And with that, I disconnect the line.
I slowly turn around and stare the shotgun barrel in my face. I move my orbs a centimeter away from the barrel and stare at the person holding it.
Juliet.
"Well... Isn't this a nice way to greet me in my house..." I say, trying to control my breathing.
Juliet is breathing hard, ragged. She looks disheveled and unhinged. "Say another word and I blow your brains out." Her voice booms. "Turn around and WALK."
I don't say anything and turn around to walk. She shoves the gun in to my back roughly. I keep walking until she walks me to my backyard.
"Sit." Juliet demands, making me sit in the lawn chair. "Hands up."
I put my hands up, and stare in to her eyes. She does not look... Sane right now.
Juliet's hair was disheveled instead of in the nice neat blonde bun I was used to seeing. Instead of her nice neat clothes, she had on baggy sweatpants that look like they were two sizes too big. Her clear face was covered in stress lines, baggy eyes. She looked like she had not slept or thought in days.
I wait a moment and then I speak... "So, Juliet Hanren... You've bee antagonizing me since I've had my kids... Why? What did I actually do to you?"
"You know EXACTLY what you did... You stole my life! My man! You stole everything from m-"
I instantly cut her off. "Juliet, how did I steal anything from you? We were in an arranged marriage. He was my fiancee not by choice!"
Juliet cocked the gun and shot....
My leg?!
I howled out in pain as I grab on to my leg... This crazy bitch shot me!
"Liar!! Drew was mine.... He was always mine! He loved me! The way he talked to me, comforted me, the way he looked at me..."
Juliet started to daydream a bit and I was about to get up but she came to.
"But you came in between us! You good for nothing slut! You're nothing special... You're below average! Then you had the nerve to produce children with him?!"
I paused... I didn't know what to do... She obviously is delusional... She was convinced Drew was hers... She had no intentions of letting me live after this.

Drew's POV:
I drove as fast as I could back to our home. How the fuck did Juliet get pass security?! We live in a gated community for a fucking REASON.
Darai was in danger and I was not there to protect her. What kind of husband am I?! I vowed from the last time something happened I would do whatever it takes to protect my wife and my children... Yet... Juliet somehow managed to get in arms reach of my wife.
I pulled out my cellphone and dialed Raul's number.
"Hello son! The babies are fi-."
"Papa, where are you?" I cut him off, not intentionally.
"At home with Maria and the babies? Why? What's going on?" He asked, noticing the panic in my voice.
I started swerving in to different lanes, hearing the other cars beeping as I cut them off to get to my home quicker. I had to be going way over the speed limit at this point. I needed to care but I didn't care. My wife is in danger!
"Okay. Stay there do not leave. Do not let anyone in the house. DO NOT answer the door whatsoever." I started.
"Drew what is going on?" Raul begged.
"For your safety and the kids safety just listen. You still have those rifles I gave you?"
"Yes..."
"Good. Take with you and hide in a safe place. Promise me you will do all of this?"
"Of course son..."
I thanked Raul and hung up my phone as quick as possible.
I drove in to our community only to see our guards... Were dead. Each one with a bullet in between their eyes. My fear kept rising as I parked the car and got out. I called the police on my way here hopefully, they would make it in time. I heard a gunshot go off and then heard my wife screaming.
No... It can't be...
I ran as fast as I could to our backyard. I stopped once I saw Juliet holding a shotgun to my wife... Holding.. A shot gun... To my wife... I slowly crept up to where they were. Darai's eyes got wide, and I waved my hands to not bring attention to me. I slowly tiptoed behind her as she screamed about Darai "stealing me from her".
Once I saw she was loosely holding the shotgun, I grab Juliet by the neck and place her in a chokehold. Darai jumps up and tussles with Juliet for the gun. I dont let up my hold as she struggles to let my arms off her neck and secure her hold on the gun.
Finally, Juliet lets go of the gun, and tries to pry arms from around her neck. I dont let up until I feel a sharp pain in my stomach. I start to lose my grip and I fall backwards. Juliet is standing over me, teary-eyed with a knife in her hand.

Darai's POV:
Red. All I saw was red after I watched Juliet stab Drew. I ran over to Juliet and forcefully tackled her to the ground. I got on top of her, ignoring the horrifying pain in my leg. I punched Juliet in the mouth over and over.
Not my man... Not MY man!
Juliet started to dodge my hits, and knocked me off of her. Juliet stood up, as I stumbled to quickly stand as well. I wobbled on to my feet, and saw Juliet swinging the knife at me. I backed up just in time to grab her arm, twisting it.
Juliet howls in pain, then head butts me right in the mouth. My mouth instantly started to bleed, but I didn't let her stop me from taking her down. I was a little disoriented, but kept my stance. I didn't let go of her arm, I twisted it harder, getting the knife to fall out her hand.
Juliet looks down at the knife, and I kick her right in the chest. Juliet falls over, and I stomp on her chest.
Juliets mouth started to fill with blood until I heard a gun cock behind me...
"Stop or you and your husband are dead."
I turn around and my eyes widen
....Was that... My father?
