The skills of mastery
First you must be able to meditate and clear your mind fully or enough that you can receive visions. The best solution for this is to just focus on your breathing until all thoughts slip away into nothingness.

Second you must be able to remember your dreams. This is vital for your progress so you can know what you really are capable of and what you are really doing in astral. Because the following are skills you must demonstrate while in astral or dreaming.

You must be able to fully control your actions in your dreams as well as be able to take full responsibility for all actions and accept the consequences of those actions as well.

You must know what is you and what is your shadow. This is a much harder skill to master because it requires you to defeat your shadow self. You must also be aware of what you are doing and what your shadow is trying to make you do. If your shadow self is in control of you at first.  It can block your abilities so you do not remember your dreams, can not control your abilities or will sabotage your efforts or even distract you from doing your work in your tests.  Ignoring your shadow can help but it's best that you learn to defend yourself as well as push through whatever it's using to control you using your will power to overcome what the shadow is trying to do to you.

You must be able to navigate the astral realm as well as following all proper protocols, rules and regulations that each kingdom has otherwise you might not be allowed to enter. The most common protocols are to alert the kingdom that you are coming to visit them once you are there ask for permission to enter and standby until someone is sent to escort you then stay with your escort until you leave. And as always do as you are told by the rulers of that kingdom. You are a guest there so you must show respect to their authority and follow their rules and customs.

You must show proficiency in all abilities that you have as well as demonstrate all necessary skill sets to show your knowledge of those abilities and how you have achieved those abilities. (No cheating allowed)

Fear tests, you must be able to control all emotions and reactions during anything that is meant to scare or harm you. No matter what they do to you. This can include torture, dismemberment, rapes, your greatest fears coming to life to attack you etc. you must have complete control over all emotions at all times.

Control over your desires including ability to resist and deny your desires or temptations while they are being offered to you.

Fighting and skills that show you are not subject to victim mentality. You must be able to withstand mental, spiritual and emotional attacks. As well as defending yourself whenever they do attack you.

If you are born of a bloodline that can shape shift you must be able to demonstrate full ability to morph and hold that form while completing tasks.

Energy testing, you must be able to see past illusions and to tell who is a friend or an enemy not by their appearance alone but by the energy they give off.

You must also know the energy of the elements and how to be one with them so that you can work with them. Or use them to manipulate them into doing what you need them to do.

You must learn to empty your mind and become void of emotions at all times including during fights or when working with your abilities.

Healing abilities should be able to be demonstrated in any number of scenarios. Both in astral and upon yourself. You need to be able to heal/cleanse/charge your chakras as well as incorporating the elements to the proper chakras and adjusting your energies accordingly.

You should also be able to remove demons, ghosts or other evil entities on your own by the time you reach mastery. (This is harder to do because some of the tests require you to learn how to remove demons from yourself that are trying to possess you.) how to do this comes in phases. Creating energy balls to capture them as well as a vortex to suck them into the energy balls. Vortexes are usually a tornado made of energy and air that you can use as a vacuum to suck them down into the balls and then enclose them into the balls to be transported to Hades for lock up.
