Shortish chap again, I'm sorry
Jade's POV:
I wake up to a huge migraine and the smell of bacon and get off the couch before walking to the kitchen.
Can't have ibuprofen my asshole, man. I grab the ibuprofen from the cabinet and down some before sitting down and digging into my food.
"Are you supposed to be having those while pregnant?" Dallas gave a new a side glance
"Nope." I saw as I shove a piece of bacon into my mouth.
"Then why did you take them?"
"Because I have a migraine. It was only 3, it won't hurt."
"But it might."
"And oh well." I finish my food and grab a cigarette from the box and light it up.
It was snatched away from me right before I could take a puff. I look over to see Sodapop has it between his lips while waving his finger side to side.
"I never wanna be pregnant again. No pain meds, no smoking, no drinking. What the hell kind of scam is this?" I fold my arms over my chest like a toddler throwing a tantrum.
Oh gosh, I'm gonna have to deal with that in a few years.
"I'm done."
"Huh?"
"No more pregnancy. I can't do anything I want to do. No crimes or smoking or drinking. Nothing. All of this just for me to have to be up all night when the baby is born because the stupid thing won't stop crying. Then the toddler tantrums in a few years. It ain't worth it!"
Tears streamed down my face as I was, once again, conflicted on what to do.
Dallas POV:
No more pregnancy?
"Let's go talk." I motioned my head to the door before standing and gently grabbing her wrist before pulling her outside.
"Talk to me, Jade. As much as I may hate kids, I can't let you get rid of our baby. You made your choice. You're keeping it. Remember what you told me? You want to make one life better. This is your chance."
"I know what I said. But I just realized all of the risks. People hate me Dal. Especially soc's. They'd do anything hurt me. Including hurt my baby. My teenage years are over because of this. I can't do anything I want anymore, I have a kid to think about."
"Let's do this, Jade. Nine months, is all I'm asking. Nine months carrying out baby and then you can go back to smoking and drinking. Maybe not partying, but I'll do the same. I won't drink for nine whole month. Can't promise smoking, but I won't drink until you can. When the baby's born, I won't party either. We're in this together from now on."
She simply nodded as tears streamed down her beautiful face. I wiped them away immediately after they fell before kissing her lips softly.
"Jade. We are in this together from now on. Let's go steady. Let me prove it to you."
She looked shocked before saying yes and wrapping her arms around my neck and kissing me with passion. No hunger or lust. Just passion and love.
Love?
She gets up and walks inside with me following her. "We're steady!!" I yelled causing everyone to fall silent for a few moments before we heard clapping and happy yelling.
"Finally, man." Darry gave me a rough pat on the back. Everyone congratulated us before we all sat down and began eating again. We all made conversation while Jade and Kasha sat having their own little conversation.
"I'm getting a sibling??" Kasha yelled causing us all to snap out head over to the both of them.
"A niece or nephew." Jade replied to which Kasha furrowed her eyebrows.
"So yes?" Jade rubbed her temples before giving a simple "I guess so."
We all went back to talking before Jade stood up and walked slowly to the bathroom and we heard her throw up. Kasha ran in there and held her hair back as I sat beside her and whispered encouraging words to her.
She washed her mouth out again before we went back and finished breakfast.
Jade's POV:
"Thank you for breakfast Darry but me and Kasha are gonna go home. We need to buy a few more groceries and I need to get her back to school."
They all waved us goodbye before we began our walk to the local grocery store.
"Momma, how are you gonna afford the baby? Like baby clothes and stuff?"
"Soda is gonna get me and Dallas on at the DX."
She just nodded her head as we picked up a few groceries. One of them being my cereal that Two Bit made me forget last time.
"Time to go home."
