Finally 💖💖

I woke up to someone cupping the side of my face, I jittered up while pulling away from his touch.

"I could definitely get used to this "he said smiling wickedly.

I stood up and walked towards the window, glancing around my environment, I have been trying and hoping I get a signal that someone was living within with the hope of getting help somehow.I avoided his touch and tried getting away from him. He left me later and I went back to lie down quietly.

He made sure his men kept a close watch on me ,I lied there in silence lost in my thoughts then a thought crept up in my head, I slipped out of the bed, my feet hit the cold floor, I tiptoed to over to the door and opened it quietly and walked gently to the kitchen, I tried to get the door all to no avail, suddenly the light turned on me, I startled and lost my balance and clutched at my throbbing heart, I saw Sebastian starting in his glory, he raised an eyebrow at me .

"Trying to escape damsel ?" he asked .
He can't find out the truth .

"I have a headache so I wanted to see if there's anything I could take ".I replied avoiding eye contact with him.

"You should have woken me up "
His stares where so intense and I was afraid he was seeing through my lies but instead he offered me a glass of water and bought out a pill from the kitchen cabinets.

"I'm sorry , I should have given you something earlier for pain relief "

I nodded and swallowed the pill.
"Thank You " I said quietly walking back to the room.

I was halfway up the stairs when Sebastian's men rushed in panicking .

"Sir we're  under attack " Head of security replied .

Before I knew what was happening, Sebastian grabbed me and hurried up the stairs before we heard gunshots, tears were flowing down my cheeks and I was sobbing for breath, Sebastian hesitated looking back at me, when suddenly I saw Derrick rushed in.

"If you move any inch further, I will shot her and drop your gun" he threatened.

Derrick reluctantly let go of his gun, when I heard Sebastian let out a sarcastic laughter.

"So sad you're going to die "
He said pointing his gun at Derrick but before he could shoot, I heard another gun shot from across the stairs ,I screamed when I realized he has been shot, I ran towards Derrick and we engulfed in a hug .

"I thought I lost you! "he confessed .

"I thought I lost you too !" I said hugging him tighter.

"I'm alive and that's all that matters,thank You for saving me "

The front door opened and I saw Stan walking towards, I got up and ran up to him, giving him a hug.

"Don't ever try that again, I missed you " he said

"I missed you too "

"I'm sorry I failed to protect you "

" Come on Stan, it wasn't your fault "I told him.

While we were talking, when the cops walked in.
" we're sorry Miss Davies " .one of the officer said.

"Thank you officer for coming to help me "

"We didn't do much, your fiance already had everything figured out before he came to us with the information " he said.

Derrick escorted me out and honestly I don't want I would have done without him in my life. He wanted me to come over with him to his penthouse but I insisted he should drive me home, I needed to see my family, gratefully he accepted.
