Breaking Out

"Ahhhhhh wow " Whoever was making such a nuisance really did slept well to wake her up with such screams, she exhaled angrily grabbing her extra pillow to cover as she tried burying her head under it from the noise but before she could slip into another dreamy sleep , another louder voice startled her capable of disrupting her sleep before she could finally decide to get up, Celine ran into her room screeching like someone that has just won a Jack pot.

"Really Celine, this is better worth my beauty sleep " I eyed her furiously.

"Oh baby, it's best News 'ave got so far" she replied excited.

"You my darling has been enlisted for the 20th designer's award winning show exhibit "clapping her hands jumping.

"And you decided to scream down the house to disturb my beauty sleep knowing I slept barely 2hrs ago " I complained bitterly throwing myself back on the bed.

"I'm so sorry darling, I didn't know, when Sandy sent me the mail this morning I just couldn't keep calm "

"Fine but you owe me breakfast alright ".

"Yeah but hope you know that you have a meeting in an hour time "Celine smirked at me.

"What the hell are you talking about, what's the time ?" I asked grabbing my wristwatch from my bed stand,I saw Celine grinning at me before leaving my room completely ignoring me, I jumped up from the bed when I realized its was passed 7 am already and rushed into the bathroom .

"Great " I muttered to myself loudly, just what I needed right now, I can't believe that for the pass 10mins I have been rampaging through my closet with no idea what to wear.

I finally decided to settle for my blue slanted gown with a touch of white at the neckline, pairing it with my black heels, I applied a little makeup after styling my hair into a pony tail .

Rushing out, Celine already had the table set waiting for me , I quickly sat down grabbing a bit of the Egg sauce she prepared, I finally scraped the last piece of the egg of the plate into my mouth before standing up, I gave her a quick hug waving her goodbye while grabbing my bag and walking out of the door.

Driving out I decided to call my secretary to confirm if she has worked on the slide I set her earlier hours of today.

"Good morning Vivian "I greeted her while taking a sharp U turn.

"Good morning ma'am "

"Did you get the slide I sent to your email this morning "I asked her calmly .

"Yes ma'am, am currently working on it, am already in the office "

"Alright am on my way" I told her before hanging up .

I drove into the parking bay outside my office, checking my wrist watch, I arrived at the office exactly the time for the board meeting but before I could walked into the my office, I saw Vivian running towards me looking worried.

"Ma'am ,Thank God you're here, they have been waiting for you in the board room since 5mins now "she said patting.

"Great, do you have my slide ready " I asked her increasing my walking pace towards the boardroom, honestly I don't know what I would have done without her help, she has resigned from Powermart simply to come and work with me instead.

When I walked into the boardroom the silence in the chamber was encroaching since they all stare at me weirdly, after taking a deep breath I decided it was time to speak up, hopefully Vivian has my slide set on the PowerPoint already ready for presentation.

"Goodday Gentlemen, am sorry that I was a bit behind the schedule"I apologize sincerely before walking towards the slide show "It's a great privilege that I have been given an opportunity to launch Dynasty Gem design under Miratech Limited and I couldn't appreciate the board of directors, CEO for all the support I have enjoyed so far "I acknowledge .
