Derrick's POV

The incessant buzzing of his cell phone was becoming unbearable, as he sat behind his desk, his attention fully fixed on the paper work in front of him, he couldn't fathom why his phone continued to ring so persistently, upset about that he switched off the phone without going through his missed calls but before he could heave a sigh of relief, his desk phone started ringing once more, determined to give whoever the caller was a piece of his mind because he specifically told his secretary that he will be working from home today and gave her a specific warning not to direct any call to him., he picked up the receiver only to be stopped in track by his private Investigator who he had told to trail Rita because he wanted to find out who she really was and what she's was hiding behind her heart, he needed to know what happened to her in the pass and what is happening recently.

"Good Morning sir" he heard his voice, suddenly he felt strange like what he was doing something worst already,brought back from his thoughts he replied him "Good morning, what information do have for me? " any lead on who must have sent her the envelope? " he asked him seriously.

"Sir yes I did, I just trailed them now for my final conclusion, am sending the files to your E-Mails right now, all my findings are there, if there's anything you need, you let me know. "

Tim replied proudly, he trusted him and he has been his private investigator for a long time now.

"Thank you Tim,I will transfer the money to your account right away."

Getting off the phone with him, he sigh heavily in breath ,he suddenly heard a knock on his office door

"Come in "he respond ,looking over his files without looking up.

"Good Morning sir ' he had Martha his housekeeper,she has been with him for a long time now, she was his nanny from birth, after his graduation and taking over his father's Company, he decided to move from their mansion to his own house and she has offered to go with him to take of him, she was like his second mother and he loved her so much but at times due to his temper he had been rude at times with her and the poor woman doesn't deserve that,she has tolerated him all this years.

"Good morning Ma'am, what can I do for you, "he said dropping the files in his hand on the desk to pay her attention.

"Stan and Richmond are here to see you, should I direct them to your office?". She asked him so politely with love and respect.

'Of course, show them in, please next time don't stress yourself and just let them in please "he replied her gently,turning back to his work on the table.
He was suddenly startled by a loud slap of his office door,looking up he met eyes with his two troublesome friends.

" Is some one not happy to see us here, come on give us a simile "Stan said mockingly, glaring at his friend, he said "come on stan, don't tell me you came all the way here to tell me that, " he said standing up to get a bottle of champagne from his office bar, pouring himself a cup of whisky
And sipping it.

"Actually we are here to invite you to a vacation, we just want to inform you because we won't take no for an answer, it's been awhile we hangout together as friends for relaxation, am just imagining what we are going to do already" says Richmond meekly but very cunningly too.

"of course, count me in, anytime spent with you guys is a moment to treasure, and I won't want to miss that beside Dad is really getting on my nerves lately ".He replied.

He won't give them the satisfaction of mocking him now, who says he was going, he can change his mind any time anyway.

"Let's go out, I want to get some fresh air, I have been stuck up here all night "he told his friends truly.

"What about our beautiful CEO, hope you are not avoiding her Mr? ".says Stan.

He knew his friends knows he was failing for her even if he didn't want to admit it, they had caught him several times during the dinner night stealing glances at her ,no one has ever gotten his attention to that extend before, he only use and dump them on one night stand and no strings attached.

"I just asked Tim to investigate on her profile for me, he promised to send them to my Mail but I have not checked "Avoiding stan question was the best thing to do, he knew he had a motive for asking.

"How could you ask Tim to do that , it's her privacy and life, am sure she will be mad when she found out what you just did"? Richmond told him, he has always been the most sensitive and emotional among them, he believes in his assumption to fall in love one day even though he's a reckless player and hoping on getting married someday but for me and stan we have chosen to remain as players with no romance, we believe in one night stand.

"She will never find out that I did so, except you tell her but I know you won't "He replied him maliciously, his friends will never betray him, no matter the condition, they were like soul brothers.

"Excuse me rich, I have to leave the both of you here, I just got an emergency text from the company ". Stan told his friends while picking up his car keys,he stopped and continued"I will be handling our vacation plans, I will let you guys on my plans when am done with it".
He said finally before giving derrick a hug and walking out.

His friends has no idea what will await them at the vacation and hopefully, he might just change his mind, he planned to make it a memorable vacation of all time if he eventually decide to attend.
