Chapter 2: Family reunion

Rumours of powers as high as Zeref's or even beyond circulated around the magical world, the power of these new beings, feared and respected at the same time. The most obvious feature of their power was the aura of the couple. A demonic aura emanated from the woman and the aura of a dragon emanated from the man who was first thought to be a woman.

When Makarov heard this, he did not know what to think. When the annual guild masters' meeting came up, some guild masters accused Markarov of possessing a "secret weapon".

Makarov, however, denied these allegations. They had told him that the pair, had cleared out many of the dark guilds and that the symbol of Fairy Tail was depicted on the back of their left hands. These allegations were supported by photographic evidence.

Markarov was stunned, but the Council didn't mind as long as the pair took out the Dark Guilds, but if they ever posed a problem for the magical world, they would use all their powers to bring them down and Makarov knew that wouldn't end well for the Council. The man's strength was immeasurable.

Markarov chuckled bitterly, they were already a problem for the magical world. The name "Dragondemonpair" was already doing the rounds. From the mere description, they were said to help people, but at the same time did not care how much damage they did along the way, although according to some onlookers, the damage was mainly caused by the opponents.

The pair had defeated opponents mostly to minimal collateral damage with their graceful and deadly sword attacks. They were far superior to the ordinary S-class mages. They played in a league of their own. Gildarts knew exactly who it was, as did Markarov, and the couple's daughter, they were all three waiting patiently for their return.

The "Dragondemonpair" as they were christened in various newsletters and magazines, had their faces covered most of the time with a black hooded cloak, where blue or silver hair could be seen from time to time. Or the man's katane and now and then the sign of Fairy Tail.

The next generation of Fairy Tail didn't know what to make of the pair. A certain pink-haired dragon slayer knew he wanted to fight the pair, not for the amount of fame it would bring him, but to prove to a certain flying lizard that he had become stronger.

The Strauss siblings knew it was the Dragondemonpair who had saved and calmed the family brother when he lost control in his Takeover form, Mirajane would forever be grateful to the pair who saved her younger brother's life. She described the couple's eyes, which she could see briefly from beside them, as open-minded and kind.

They had disappeared directly without even speaking to her. When she confronted her master about it, he laughed about it and said that she would see them again one day and then she could talk to them. She looked forward to that day.

Erza Scarlet.

She was proud of her parents for being so well known in the world and in every battle she clutched her father's sword. Which she wielded with pride and elegance.

Her body and abilities had grown, and as one man had said so many years ago, she was becoming "a beautiful young woman" who was also feared for her skills and strength. She was a master swordswoman but still did not come close to her father's skills.

She was now sixteen years old and surpassed many her age in strength and skill. A small smile played around the lips of a couple reading a newsletter in a café in Magnolia Town as they read the interview Erza had done for a local magazine. Came a man who sat down opposite them.
