Rimuru goes to Fairy Tail

Chapter 12: The will to sacrifice

Fairy Tail...

"Who do you think you're fooling?"

The conquest of Nirvana had ended well, with the exception of Jellal's capture. Erza had gotten over it thanks to the comfort of her parents. The pair had then taken her back to Fairy Tail. Wendy Marvell, the smallest of the group, both in stature and age, had now joined their group, as a guild had been formed just for her, and after the fall of Nirvana, her guildmaster had disappeared to thank Natsu and the other members of the Alliance. Wendy, with nowhere to go, had found solace with Erza, who had offered her a place in Fairy Tail, and she looked to Rimuru and Luminous, who nodded at her. She and the 3 demons kept their distance as they watched the rest of Team Natsu say goodbye to their allies from their respective guilds. Then they walked ahead of them, they caught up with the five of course and Natsu threw obscenities at them. Rimuru and Luminous of course paid no attention to him, while the demons had to restrain themselves from freaking out because the pair ignored him it only fuelled his anger. During the whole way back, Rimuru questioned the demons about the current situation in Tempest and afterwards the demons took the opportunity to rant about Diablo, Rimuru and Luminous had permanent grins on their faces and had to giggle from time to time. Wendy had since walked beside Erza, something of an older sister had formed in Wendy's eyes when she saw Erza. She had nervously asked Erza if they were her parents, she had replied with a smile and nodded her head, a trait rarely seen in her. Erza had asked her if she wanted to talk to them. She had answered nervously. The couple and the demons looked intimidating to her. Erza just smiled at them.

"That's quite normal, but when you get to know them, they are good-hearted people..."

That was what Erza had said to her. Wendy would then befriend the couple when they were alone. And that had proved fruitful for her when the couple had acknowledged her presence. A new bond had been forged and Wendy was happy because she now knew persons who were like parents to her, including the entire Team Natsu who were like siblings to her. Little did she know that her family would soon become much, much bigger. Both emotionally and numerically. She was looking forward to it. Rimuru now noted that there were three original dragon slayers in the guild. He felt that this was good. They were growing bit by bit. With the addition of Ur and Wendy, their guild was now even stronger. The pair had their eyes on Gray, they knew an outburst was now imminent. They had expected it, no... they had foreseen it, they reached Fairy Tail, the pair wanted to leave but they had promised to take Levy on a mission and they would not break a promise now. They slowly strode back into the noisy guild that was now known as their current home. Rimuru and Luminous stopped at the entrance, much to their displeasure, for the reunion had come much faster than they had expected. And they had to bear the brunt of it.

"What... what the hell is that..." muttered a shocked Gray. Ur had seen him and he had seen her. Slowly she rose.

"No...no way...," Gray muttered as Ur approached him step by step. "Oye! Gray-teme? what's wrong?" asked Natsu curiously.

"You're supposed to be dead!" exclaimed Gray, pointing at Ur.

"Is that the kind of greeting I get from my cute little student?" smiled Ur as Gray looked on in shock.

"Who are you trying to fool?" shouted Gray. "My master died sealing Deliora! She said goodbye! Whoever you are, I will not forgive you for impersonating her!"

Gray lunged at her as Ur sighed, "I knew it wouldn't be easy..."

Gray's eyes widened as he looked at the ice sword in front of him, blocking his ice sword.... "Icemake!"

Ur looked at him calmly as she eyed his shocked eyes. Gray looked confused. Ur used that moment to push her weight behind the sword, throwing Gray back. The epitome of surprise was etched on his features. Ur's ice sword dissolved as she grinned at him.
