Chapter 18: The strongest pair of Fairy tail!

"What happened?"

Those were the first words that came out of Luminous Tempest's mouth. How could it ever happen that I become unconscious. This thought flashed through her mind. The next thing she felt was that she was lying on something snug and when she opened her eyes a figure she knew very well shot into her field of vision. Immediately she straightened up and jumped into the arms of this figure.

"I missed you, Love," she said, sobbing with tears in her eyes.

"I missed you too Lumi.", he whispered in her ear. It tore his heart to see his wife like this. After 5 minutes, she let go of Rimuru and he pulled her into a kiss. After that, they fell asleep. After two hours, Luminous woke up.

On closer inspection she saw that she was in a cave, there was a light burning at the edge of the cave she was in. She also heard the drops of water falling on the craggy floor below her. A candle stood on a table to her right. She saw that her black coat was lying on the table to her right. The sound of footsteps caught her attention. She could feel the energy of a figure approaching them. A brief moment of silence said it all as the vampire looked to the smaller figure in front of her.

"Ah!...you're awake!"

Luminous looked at the girl before her. She had short coral hair and bright green eyes. She wore something like a golden, wing-like headdress around her ears. She wore a tight purple top with brownish thigh-high boots that had white stripes on the top, and a red cloak with a gold lining around the edges.

"Did you take care of me when I became unconscious?"

"Half yes half no. Most of the time your husband took care of you?" a questioning look graced Luminou's face.

"He came four days ago. When I noticed him, I wanted to attack him. But suddenly he kissed you. When we got into conversation he thanked me a thousand times."

"I have to thank you too," came a soft voice from Luminous. She lay back with Rimuru and waited for him to wake up. Meanwhile, she still wondered how she could become unconscious. Her conclusion was that Ciel and Rimuru probably staged it. He probably wanted him to be the first thing I saw after I woke up. What an idiot I married. Luminous grinned to himself. After three hours he finally woke up.

"What are you going to do now?", the slime asked the girl.

"Can you help me. You are the only ones who can take me to Ultear!" she said. Before anyone could answer her, Luminous intervened with a question.

"How long have I been... unconscious?"

Meredy blinked, looking at her.... "It's been about a week now, I was beginning to think you'd never wake up..."

Luminous eyes lit up with surprise, if it had been a week then the members of Grimoire Heart would be on Tenrou Island right now, and that would mean an attack on the members of Fairy Tail.

[Love do you know what happened on Tenrou Island?]

[No I specially lowered my {Magic Perception} to the maximum because I want to see it with my own eyes].

[Understand Love.]

"Meredy ... Isn't it?"

Meredy looked on in surprise and nodded her head silently. She looked at the older woman, wondering what thoughts were going through her mind. After a while of silence, Luminous finally made up her mind and looked at Meredy.

"We will take you to where Ultear and her mother are supposed to be...I just hope we are not too late..." replied Luminous. Meredy blinked in surprise as she looked at the older woman.
