Rimuru goes to Fairy Tail

Chapter 14: Reveal

"Natsu, Luminous...stay here for a moment..." said Rimuru as he turned around. "What, where are you going?" asked Natsu as he looked at Rimuru's retreating figure.

"He'll be right back, wait a minute," said Luminous.

Rimuru went back to the council chambers. There he was greeted by Lahar and some rune knights who were repairing the wall.

"Rimuru-san?" asked Lahar curiously as he watched Rimuru enter the council chambers again.

"What do you want now, Rimuru?" came the voice of Guran as Rimuru calmly looked up at him and the other council members.

"Another offer?" came the amused voice of Mog.

"A request...", Rimuru replied.

"And what would that be?" asked Guran, glaring at the lone slime.

"I would ask you to reduce the sentence of Jellal Fernandes to five years..." explained Rimuru, looking at the councillors around him.

"Unacceptable!" said an angry Guran.

"He cannot remember the crimes he committed and that is why I am asking you to pardon him...," Rimuru pleaded again.

"That is too much to ask, Rimuru...", Mog replied.

"Perhaps... but when I fought him in the Celestial Tower, I felt him being controlled by an alien source...", Rimuru explained.

"That doesn't prove anything!" declared Guran.

"I will be responsible for his actions from now on, but I would like to ask you to reduce the punishment...", Rimuru explained once again. Rimuru watched as the council members talked and finally came to a decision.

"Seven years imprisonment, Rimuru, and not one year earlier, do I make myself clear?" asked Guran. Rimuru nodded his head, whispered a small thank you and made his way back out of the council chamber.

Guran was seething with anger when he saw Rimuru leave the building. Rimuru saluted Lahar once more and then made his way back to Natsu.

"Rimuru, what the hell is taking you so long?" asked Natsu.

"Stay calm Love must have something important to talk about," Luminous reassured Natsu.

"Sorry, I took a little longer..." said Rimuru after breaking off the kiss with Luminous....

"Are we going back to Fairy Tail now?" asked Natsu. Rimuru nodded as he watched Luminous and Natsu make their way back to the guild.

Natsu watched as all the S class mages left the others and gathered in the meeting hall. He thought that he too could sneak in, and he did, but he was met by a fist from Gildarts that hurled him near Elfman with swirls in his eyes.

"Maybe next time, Natsu..." smiled Gildarts as he closed the door behind him and made his way to the meeting place. Markarov stood in the middle, Rimuru stood next to Erza, who stood next to Luminous. Ur stood next to Rimuru, while Gildarts stood next to Mirajane.

"Alright, Rimuru, Luminous, first things first..." said Markarov. The pair nodded their heads. Rimuru roughly explained what was happening in Era and told them about an important document, but he did not mention what was in it. Makarov knew what was in the document because Ciel sent him a message about their plan while the Rune Knights were being taken away.

Makarov had a thoughtful expression on his face as he sighed. "Well, at least something good came out of it..."

"Document? What kind of document?" asked a now curious Ur. Rimuru glared at her. He had hoped not to have to make it known.
