Chapter 17: Darkness rising...

"I have received your message..." the calm voice of the former second guildmaster of Fairy Tail rang out as he looked at the two people before him. An eerie silence spread between them. Between the five people who were now in the forest. A small smile appeared on his face as he crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"So everything is ready?" the silver-haired vampire asked. Hades nodded his head as his attention turned to the right side of the woman in front of him.

"And her?"

The lady in question jumped back a few feet as her face took on a mixture of horror and shock. It quickly turned to anger and glared at said vampire. She was outnumbered and outgunned. Things did not bode well for her. Luminous did not return her gaze, but looked to the older man before her.

"I will leave them to your subordinates," she said in a calm voice as Hades nodded his head and looked to the two children beside him. "Ultear, Meredy... we will leave them to you. Come back to us on the ship when you are ready."

The girls in question just nodded and turned to face the opponent in front of them. Ur watched angrily as Luminous began to walk up beside Hades and shouted something angrily at her. She stopped and turned her head towards her. Her heterochromatic eyes bored into her. Ur watched in horror as her eyes met hers. For a brief second they both stood still. And then, after another second. Hades grunted as he began to walk. Luminous's heterochromic eyes were still looking at the woman.

"You traitor!"

Luminous turned to her and then looked at her in horror and shock as she laughed. Her eyes widened at the sound of her laughter. Her eyes bored deep into her soul. She shuddered as her laughter died away, a crazed expression on her face. Her voice spoke once more as the three people under the forest canopy watched.

"I acted as the guild member required by Fairy Tail to learn what I needed, you are right to call me that, this could very well be our last meeting...goodbye, Ur." said Luminous. She turned once more and started to walk away. Ur gritted her teeth angrily as she lunged for the vampire's back. With one swift movement, a kick hit her in the stomach, sending her crashing into the bark of a tree.

"She... she actually hit me, is she really serious?"

She groaned in pain as the dust settled and glared at the vampire. As she turned once more and began her journey.

"Luminous! I will never forgive you for this! Fairy Tail will never forgive you!" That didn't stop the vampire from moving on, ignoring her pleas and accusations. "Erza will never forgive you!"

Luminous stopped abruptly and glared at her once more, then turned again and disappeared into the cold confines of the forest. Ur gritted her teeth as she rose. Sadness was evident on her face, mixed with a quiet mixture of anger.

"So... what shall I tell the guild members, brat?" asked Ur as her gaze hardened on the two girls before her. They, too, laughed. Ultear and Meredy backed away in surprise as they looked to Ur.

"So you hooked up with Hades, huh?" came her voice.

"That's none of your business, Mother. Right now ... the only thing that matters is ..."

"Right! The only thing that matters is our mother-daughter bond!" grinned Ur as Ultear blinked at her. "Hmm... I will repay you a thousandfold for all the suffering you have caused me all these years..."

Ur's gaze softened and she grinned again. "You know... Lipstick really doesn't suit you!"

"Enough! Stop thinking of this as a game!" shouted Ultear as Ur grinned. "You're a child! Children should be taught by playing games!"
