Rimuru goes to Fairy Tail

Chapter 19: Master vs Student

After the fight, the rest of the Tenrou crew brought them back to camp. Meanwhile, at some distance from the group, Ur asked Rimuru about her husband. Briefly, Rimuru explained that his body and soul had been brought to this world. But he has no idea where. So Ur and Ultear must search for him themselves.

"How annoying of you brat.", Ur muttered. Rimuru did his best to suppress a cheeky grin. Arriving at the camp, Rimuru dropped onto a tree trunk and Luminous took a seat on Rimru.

They all demanded that Rimuru and Luminous tell them about their fight with Hades and how they had finally won. Rimuru also told them about his fight against Madara and Luminous about what she had been up to in her absence.

Also, they all left it unsaid that Laxus secretly longed to be back in the guild and had not really come back to visit the First Master's grave or anything like that. Makarov had left Hades to rot on the shore, hoping that the pure magic of the island would do something for his bound soul. At least he hoped so.

Erza quickly slipped into the "armour" of a nurse and set to work dressing everyone with bandages and supplies. Mirajane and Lisanna proved to be suitable helpers, although they were far less crazy about being wrapped in healing bandages than she was. After the work was done, Erza joined her parents. After a long time, the three of them enjoyed their time together.

Someone came over to them. It was Wendy, accompanied by Carla and Happy ... although it looked like Happy was really only following Carla.

"I have some extra magic if you need it," Wendy said in an anxious voice. "I can try to heal your wounds faster?" Rimuru knew why she was so anxious. It was because of the amount of haki he was exuding. For him it was only a small fraction but for her it was as if she had met the devil in person.

"We're fine, Wendy," Rimuru said, stroking her head. "How are you?" the Demon Lord asked back.

"Definitely exhausted. I wasn't sure we were going to make it out of there."

"Don't worry-as long as we're going to be there, you'll be fine," Rimutu said with a smile.

"Thank you it gives me a lot of hope in case we go through something like this again," Wendy said. "That we will always be victorious."

Rimuru nodded. Makarov cleared his throat, which got everyone's attention and even made Erza pause for a moment.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, I will cancel the remaining part of the S class mage exam," Makarov said.

"Yay, everyone is S class!" exclaimed Natsu.

"No, it will be postponed," said Makarov. "There will be a lot of work involved in bringing in the found and captured members of Grimoire Heart, and I want to ensure a proper and stable defence for next time."

"Ah, no S-class," Luminous murmured and looked at Cana, who did not look disappointed despite all the hardships of the last five years. Makarov even gave her a knowing look. The pair did not bother to think about it for long. What mattered was that she was happy.

"Rest now," Makarov ordered. "We'll leave as soon as everyone is in good shape."

"You heard him!" exclaimed Erza. "Come and get checked out!", Rimuru and Luminous knew they had no chance against their daughter.

Rimuru looked around the area. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a sudden movement and saw Gildarts pull Cana into a hug. A smile appeared on the couple's faces.

"She finally told him," Erza said. She had taken off her sister armour and slipped back into her blouse and skirt. The couple nodded. Suddenly Erza hugged her parents and whispered. "Thank you for saving us. But from now on, no more going it alone. Do you know how worried I was?" Tears streamed down the woman's face at her last words. Luminous hugged her even tighter and whispered. "It won't happen again I promise."
