Fairy Tail...
A few days have passed and although life went on as usual, an uneasy feeling lay over the members of Fairy Tail, although the usual festivities and merriment never died down. Ur had taken charge of the female mages and decided to empower them in their own field of magic. This had greatly lessened the burden on Rimuru, who had served as a teacher for most of the years at Fairy Tail. Life at Fairy Tail went on as normal. Gildarts stayed in the guild for hours, playing fights with some of the younger members of the guild, namely Natsu. Mystogan appeared and then disappeared again to take up a job. The couple had followed Mystogan. They either took a job and stayed away from the guild or enjoyed their time together at Lake Scillora. They still had not questioned Ur about her husband. They would find a suitable time to do so. Erza was now the third most powerful mage in Fairy Tail, just behind Ur and Luminous. She had heeded the older woman's advice about fighting. However, she preferred her parents when it came to fighting. Rimuru had asked Ur to train Erza in fighting elemental ice mages. Ur had grinned and told him that Gray was better than Erza. Rimuru raised an eyebrow in amusement as Ur gave him a smug grin.
"You will see that she will exceed your expectations, she will exceed them by leaps and bounds."
That was what Rimuru had told her and to her surprise, it proved to be true. Ur was amazed at her skill and silently praised her for the martial arts she was displaying. She now stood before a panting Erza and praised her, but silently cursed Rimuru and Luminous for making Erza so strong, Erza had given Ur a death-defying workout.
"Stupid brats! What did they teach her anyway? She's like a monster with her stupid armour!" cursed Ur.
Ur dodged Erza's sword and hit her in the stomach with her knee.
"Gah!..." moaned Erza as she held her stomach in pain. Ur grinned, "That's enough for today, Erza..."
She then walked back to the guild as Erza slowly stood up, holding her stomach in pain. The sound of footsteps startled her out of her pain. "Gray...", Erza murmured.
Gray smiled as he held out a hand to Erza. Erza took it and slowly stood up, straightening to her full height. "Tired?"
"Yes..." replied Erza as she looked to where Ur had gone. As if she could read her thoughts, Gray's voice spoke up.
"She's a troublesome master, isn't she?..." muttered Gray, scratching the back of his head.
"You do have first-hand experience..." said Erza, amused. "Don't remind me...", Gray muttered....
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
Gray and Erza looked up as they saw Natsu fall in front of them with a loud thud, his face now buried in the sand. Erza sighed.
"Oh dear, idiot, what happened?" asked Gray. "No doubt he was fighting Gildarts again..."
"Gildarts...," Natsu muttered and Gray's prediction came true as he helped Natsu up and carried him back to the guild with Erza in tow. A deep rumble shook them as they entered the guild.
"Rune knights..." muttered Gildarts as he stood up. Ur watched as she stood up as well. "Calm down, Ur, Gildarts... I'll take care of it...", Markarov replied as he stood up.
"Oye, if you're here for Erza, I won't let you take her!" a now reinvigorated Natsu shouted. Gildarts held him by the collar, "Calm down, Natsu..."
"But!"
"Calm down Natsu, they are not here for Erza..." replied Ur. They watched as Markarov approached them. "So the Council has been reformed?..."
Lahar nodded his head as he came forward. The Rune Knights backed away behind him. "Why are you here?"
