One Love (Nick Nelson)

"Molly!" Mum stormed through my door making me jump a little.
"Yes?" I answered turning around to face her.
"Who is that boy outside?" She folded her arms and slumped to one side.
"What boy? Nick?" I responded.
"I have no fucking clue! He has very very muscular arms." She said slightly blushing, gross.
"Oh that's Nick Nelson he uh...we're going a friends music concert."
"Your going out?"
"Yeah, I mean all of my homework and chores are done so I thought it would be okay?" She rolled her eyes and walked to the door.
"Of course Molly! Always doing what you want without asking! It's all about you innit?" She slams the door behind her, I huff in exhaustion and text Nick that I'll be down in a minute.

"You ready?" Nick asks as we pull up to the hotel that Harry has somehow rented for the night.
"No, not really." We both laugh and get out of the car. Once we enter my ears are blown out by loud music and people screaming and crying, yelling and singing. Nick looks at me and fixes his hair.
"So-" Just then he's cut off by Charlie ambushing us.
"Molly! You came." He says as he wraps his arms around my back.
"Yeah, I told you I would. Didn't I?" He nodded in response. Charlie looks over at Nick and straightens up and turns back to me.
"Um Molly? I'm gonna go get a drink. I'll see you later." Charlie quickly says before running off.
"So, um. We should um...we should go find a quieter place?" Nick asked putting his hands in his pockets.
"I'm actually gonna go find Tara and Darcy, but I'll meet you later." I smiled before walking away.
"Oh..o-okay." Nick voice faded as I got further and further away.

After searching for a few minutes I finally found Darcy and Tara dancing in the crowd of people.
"Hey guys!" I said joining in on the dancing.
"Oh hey Molly, is Nick here?" Darcy asked. I nodded and spoke up again.
"Yeah we came together." Tara raised her eyebrows and smiled.
"Together? Like a date?" They both looked at each-other and giggled.
"Wha- no! No! He just invited me and I said yes because I didn't want to be at my house with my mum. I don't like Nick like... at all. Im just being nice is all."
"Mhm." Darcy quietly pushed out.
"We're gonna go get something to drink. We'll see you later Molly." They waved and walked out of my sight. Well I guess i should find Nick.                                                                                                                 15 minutes I've spent searching for Nick and I finally found him. Sitting all alone on a chair in the corridor.                                                                     "Hey Nick sorry I didn't come with you earlier." I said sitting down next to him. He looked up from his phone and stood up putting his phone in his back pocket.
"Oh, it's okay. Where'd Tara and Darcy go?"
"They went to go get some drinks but they'll find us later, I think anyway." We both laughed in sync making us laugh even more.
"Do you want to sit with me?" Nick said shouting over the music. I nodded and sat down, Nick sitting as well.
"Are you okay you seem....different?" Nick asked sharply breathing in.
"What do you mean different?"
"Like, well, you seem sad."
"I'm just tired." I smiled pulling my hair behind my ear.
"You look really tired and stressed. Are you sure everything is okay?" I nodded, looking down at the ground.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for asking."
"Oy Nick, what's up mate?" Harry said walking into the room. Nick stood up, his hand combing through his hair.
"Me and Molly were just talking is all."
"Oh hey Molly. Didn't see you there." Harry said smiling. It was one of those 'I'm so cool that I'm going to smile a really fake mean smile' I rolled my eyes.
"Harry what did you want?" Nick sternly said.
"Whoa chill out mate! I just wanted to tell you that Tara Jones is here."
"Okay? I already know Molly and I act-" Harry cut him off by patting his shoulder and pointing towards Tara.
"Go talk to her mate, this is your chance! Maybe you guys could hook up tonight instead." Harry smirked and winked at Nick.
"Nick and Tara made out in year 6, he totally still has a thing for her." Harry said looking at me. Harry's a total dick head.
"Okay? It's Nicks love life not mine, plus I don't even like Nick. So I'm leaving, I'll see you tomorrow. Happy birthday Harry." I pushed past all of them leaving Nick behind.
'Was I really starting to like Nick Nelson? Gross.'
