One Love (Nick Nelson)

People have recently been talking about a new student coming to Higgs, nobody knows who the teachers informed us of it, not giving us a name.

As lunch rolls around I sit in my usual spot but only Elle there today.
"Where are Tara and Darcy?" I asked putting my tray down.
"They're giving the new student a tour of the school. So they won't be at lunch today." Elle said sighing and putting crackers in her mouth.
"Oh, who is the new student anyway?"
"Her name is like Dani Graham or something, I've never personally met her or seen her but everyone loves her already, she's also apparently in our forms class." Elle informed me kindly.
"Okay, I'm kind of excited to meet her. I mean we haven't had a new student in at least 2 years." I said smiling, I was genuinely excited but also nervous because most people that move here are dicks.
"Yeah..maybe they'll be cool."

After lunch we met up with Tara and Darcy to talk about boys, girls, and I guess Dani?
"Dani is so sweet, she gave me this piece of chocolate and a gift card to Pizza Hut." Darcy said unwrapping the chocolate and throwing it into her mouth. We all laughed at Darcy's excitement and Tara continued talking.
"She apparently moved from Germany because her parents split up and she moved in with her dad. She has like two brothers and a dog. Oh she also loves painting and sports."
"Yeah and she looks just like Tao! Which is pretty cool." Darcy added. The school bell rang meaning class was about to start so we all went our separate ways.
When I got to Maths there was someone in the seat next to me. Normally it's just Hanna and I at the table.
"Molly, our new student Dani will be seated at your table the rest of the year." Mrs. Gibbs said once I walked in. I nodded and walked to my seat putting my bag on the back of the chair.
"Hello." Dani spoke to me.
"Hi?" I said back, pulling out my books.
"I'm Dani Graham." She said putting her hand out for me to shake it. I took her hand in mine and I introduced myself.
"I'm Molly. It's very nice to meet you." I smiled.
"Thanks you too. I like your hair." She said looking up at my hair, which was put in a ponytail.
"Thank you." After that class finally started.

"Alright class, there's no home work today. So I'll see you Monday! Molly good luck at the rugby game tonight. Have a good weekend everyone." Mrs. Gibbs said while wiping off the board.
"Molly!" Dani ran up next to me and started talking.
"You play rugby?"
"Yeah, and there's nothing wrong with that." I said kinda snobby.
"Oh I know! My brother Oliver plays, well he did at my old school. I think he's gonna try and join." I noticed Dani was very talkative and she was a little too nice. It was kinda weird.
"That's..cool. We need like 1 more person on the team anyway since Baron quit." I was hoping Dani would go away so I could go talk to Nick before the game.
"Hopefully Oliver gets on the team then! He's always loved rugby, he and my younger brother Clark loved to play rugby together." She said talking very quickly and loudly.
"Um. Dani I have to go get ready for the game so I'll see you Monday." I quickly said walking away as fast as possible. Maybe I'll regret wanting to meet Dani.

Once I got changed I went on the field to meet with Nick before the game. I noticed someone talking to Nick. As I was getting closer I realized it was Dani?
"Hey Nick, I see you've met Dani..." I trailed off after saying her name.
"Oh hey Molly I didn't know you played Rugby." Dani giggled.
"I told you that in Maths today." Maybe she forgot?
"You did? I don't know how I didn't hear it, you voice is so loud." She said looking from Nick to me. I knew her kindness was all an act.
"Y'know what, I'm gonna go talk to Harry or something. I'll see you on later Nick." I walked off towards Harry and his group.
"Hey Molly, pleased to see you here." Harry said taking a sip from his bottle.
"I didn't come here to flirt, I came here to talk to you about Dani." I dragged Harry over to a less crowded area but we were still in clear view of Dani.
"Yeah, what about her? She seems nice she's also like really ho-" I cut off Harry.
"She may seem nice but she's not. She was being kind in Maths today, but when I got to the field she was talking to Nick and acted like a completely differ person, she was like saying I have a really loud voice and she was being real snobby. Like, like-"
"Imogen? Before her and Nick broke up?" Harry said finishing my sentence for me.
"Yeah like Imogen right before they broke up." I filed my arms and glared at Dani.
"What're you gonna do about it?" Harry asked picking up a rugby ball and tossing it up and catching it.
"I have no idea." Harry smiled before speaking again.
"Wait. Why do you care that she's talking to Nick, mate?" My face became red and my eyes widened before quickly looking at Harry,
"Because...I don't want Nick to date someone like her again, I'm just doing everyone a favor." I said looking at Harry defensively.
"Mostly for your self right?" He said in to which I punched in in the arm.
"Shut up." I laughed. I guess Harry wasn't so bad.
"Okay, okay. We'd better go get in line for the game." I agreed with Harry and we both walked to line up.
"I'm gonna do something about Dani, I won't let her get Nick."
