One Love (Nick Nelson)

1 week has passed since Harry's party and it's back the old 'I hate Nick Nelson' thing. I've been thinking a lot and no matter how hard I try I can't stop thinking of Nick.

"Okay, so we can play Uno? Or we can play Monopoly?" Tao said searching through his game closet.
"Earth to Molly." Tao snapped his fingers in front of my face, pulling me out of my day dream.
"Huh? Oh Nick Nelson please." I responded quickly, in result of Tao giving me a 'are you dumb' kind of look.
"What? I asked about Uno or monopoly not a boy." He plopps on his bed only for his face to turn surprised.
"Wait. Nick Nelson? You were day dreaming of Nick golden retriever Nelson?" I snapped my head to look at him, embarrassment written all over my face.
"Wh-no, I hate him remember?" I say scoffing Tao just sighs in response.
"Tomorrow is the first rugby game of the season. I'm nervous." I look down at the floor worry over coming me.
"Hey Molly. It'll be fine I promise okay? You'll do great." Tao put a hand on my shoulder, reassuring me everything was gonna be okay. I hope he's right.

"We'll I kinda assumed you'd be nervous." Elle said putting some of Darcy's monster munch in her mouth.
"Hey! That was my last piece!" Darcy complained.
"I mean it's the first game this year and mind you, Truham's rugby team isn't the greatest." I lay my head in between my arms and sulk out if worriedness.
"Ehem." A voice interrupted my sulking, I look up to see Zoey standing at our table. Zoeys had a thing for Nick since like year 7 and he rejected her every time she asked him out, but she's refused to take no for an answer:
"Tara, I need to talk to you." Zoey's squeaky stupid voice echoed through one of my ears and out the other.
"Oh god." Darcy mumbles under her breath.
"Hi Zoey, what's up?" Tara's voice was like an angel from heaven, so soft and sweet.
"One minute, I hear you and Nick are a thing. The next I hear your kissing some girl at Harry's party." Zoey says like its the end of the world.
"Tara literally kisses her girlfriend at a crowed party, and people are STILL asking her if she's dating a guy she kissed once when she was like, 13?" Darcy says defensibly.
"So that girl is her girlfriend?" Zoey asked with a bit of relief. Darcy scoffs and talks again.
"That girl? I'm right here!" Zoey hold up her hands like she's been caught with the police.
"All right. Fine, I was just asking!" Zoey continued,
"Just so you know, me and Nick are together, so I just wanted to check." She says looking directly at me looking me up and down.
"You and Nick Nelson are, together?" I ask, not that it matters, cause it doesn't.
"Mhm." Zoey nods. "I mean, pretty much." She pulls up a picture of her and Nick smiling, that picture looked to be about half a year old.
"Yeah very cute." Tara says sarcastically.
"So, you and Nick are definitely not-" Tara cut Zoey off.
"I'm a lesbian." Zoey smiles awkwardly at all of us.
"I'm not like homophobic, I'm an ally." She acts like we care.
"Congratulations?" Tara says.
"We thank you for your service?!" Darcy swiftly responds.
Zoey walks away slowly and painfully awkward.
"I.Want.To.Beat.The.Ever.Loving.Shit.Out.Of.Her."I said clenching my fist under the table, thankfully no one saw.
"I don't like Zoey very much, especially after that! She thinks she can date Nick? As if!"
