It All Began With This

chapter 6

Bea's pov

"rise and shine princess!!" my dad shouted as he enters my room.

he opened the lights making me cover myself in the pillow. its early in the morning and i superr neeed resttt.

"dad" i whined

"let me sleep" i turned my body to the wall.

he sat at the edge of my bed and kept tapping me. he soon suddenly stopped when he realized i wasn't really responding or anything

"ok five more minutes isabel and im seriously going to drag you" he said and left my room.

i closed my eyes again and tried to go back to sleep but didn't work. i had no choice but to get out of bed.

its sunday today and its family day. just like old times, mom will cook for me and dad then hangout in the backyard but this time, we're with jho.

speaking of jho, i must say we've gotten really close. we go out most of the time with our dogs or just hangout in her condo to watch some movies.

its funny because there was this one time where bella and jacob were suddenly nowhere to be found. me and jho were busy baking at that time. we caught them doing some nasty things when we realized that they were missing.

"hey mom" i kissed my mom goodmorning aswell as my dad.

"goodmorning sweetie, buti naman nagising ka na" my dad who was drinking his coffee greeted me

"well yeah, thanks to you i woke up early" i sarcastically said that just made him laugh.

"how i miss this" mom looked at us in awe.

i sat beside dad and also ate my breakfast.

"mom drama ka nanaman dyan"

"ofcourse sweetheart, its been a long time since we've done this" she approached me and held my shoulder.

she poured juice for me that i gladly drank. some things never change.

"uh mom did dad mention na im bringing someone at lunch" i looked at dad before looking at her.

"no, sino ba yan? may girlfriend ka na ba?"

"what? mom, no. she's my friend, bestfriend rather"

she's my bestfriend naman diba?

"sure, i'd like to meet her" my mom said kaya tumango lang ako.

after i finished my breakfast, i decided to check the backyard just to you know, see how its going.

before i could even step in the grass ay natanaw ko na si jacob playing with george and phillips. geroge and phillips are my dog too, they're corgis.

"hey buddies"

they all jumped on me at the same time that made me fall on my knees. they're such big boys now.

i had jacob for almost ten years now and my two corgis for five years. regalo din sakin ni dad my two  corgis but when i decided to move out i could only bring jacob with me.

george and phillips are siblings and i can't seperate them so i had no choice but to pick jacob. but its worth it din naman.

i grabbed my phone to check what time it is. it was still early but i want to fetch jho na agad.

im really excited for this lunch

i went upstairs and to take a shower. the cold water touching my warm body awaken me more. its a good day today.
