It All Began With This

chapter 10

Bea's pov

the whole ride was quiet. no one dared to talk. no one dared to make any noise. only the music was the only sound heard inside the car.

i looked at jho who was sitting at the shotgun. im honestly not mad at her for not continuing the kiss. i have no rights to be mad. im much disappointed in myself for risking it all without even thinking straight.

i let my heart take over now i have to face the consequences. and alcohol, i shouldn't have drink too much and confess.

"we're here" i said and made sure to park my car in the perfect spot.

i got out of the car and took a deep breath. i put my hands inside my pockets and examined the view infront of me. it was nothing but pure beauty.

i brought her to a place here in antipolo. city lights are more beautiful from here and the stars, they shine much more brighter here in dark.

"this is really pretty" she uttered when she stood beside me.

"i know" i said agreeing with her.

we were silently watching the lights for a moment. the weather here is cold unlike in the other places. its perfect for star gazing. with that, an idea on my head suddenly popped out.

i stepped on my car making jho's gaze turn to me. she confusingly watches me until i successfully climb up to the roof of my car. i sat there with my feet loose down.

"c'mon is climbing up really necessary" she raised her hands.

"the view up here is much better. but your choice if you wanna stand there the entire time and make your legs numb" i shouted while looking at her complaining face.

she was left with no choice. she stood up to my car and grunted as i pulled her up. she brushed away all the dust in her wrists and knees with her hand.

she had a face of relief soon as she saw the view right infront of her. i laughed at her cute reaction. things like this really gets all her attention.

i heard her shivering in cold that made me look at her. she was hugging herself with her bare hands. i almost forgot that she was wearing a sleevless and short dress.

i held on to the handle of the door when felt my knees jolt as i jumped down all the way from the roof. i tried to walk but my knees was still in pain. beside from the kiss earlier, this is the second most stupid decision i ever made tonight.

"what the hell bei, okay ka lang?" jho worriedly asked me.

i groaned in pain before nodding at her. i opened the car and grabbed my hoodie that i always carry with me. good thing i never take this out of my car.

i opened the radio for some music and left the door car open so we would have a nice background music. i climbed up to the roof not forgetting to bring the hoodie with me.

"here" i offered her the hoodie.

she took it from my hand and put it on her. i comfortably laid down my back on the car, using my both hands as my pillow.

i stared back at the beauty above me. i want to ignore all the things that happened back there. despite that it was embarrassing, it also hurts me, a lot.

i hummed at the tune of the song that started to play at the radio. it was gabi by rob daniel. just the perfect song for this night.

"you know what you did earlier was really hot" she said having an impressed look on her face.
