Who Are You?

This poem depicts the state of mind and mood swings faced by teenagers in their (totally applicable for both boys and girls) day - to - day life.

I started talking with you
Just before three days
Now I like you
And have no clue in how many ways

The fact is
We both are teenagers
And have contrasting views
On love and life

My love story
Was a misery
It has taken months
To overcome this tragedy

My past life
Has hues of pain and regret
There were days
I lost faith
On life's every aspect

My imagination and excitement for love
All has now dried up
I'm not in a place
To wait for love once again

That guy, took my old self
It was hard to construct me
As a whole new human again

Now I'm on the verge of losing myself
Once again

Even though I know what is love
I'm confused in your case

You said teenagers only have infatuation
For me, it was not an infatuation
For me it was a lifetime experience
That only some are fortunate of

I thought that next time
Decision making would be an easy task
But now I know
Love is different every time

Let's come straight to the point
I'm in a dilemma
And you  are the reason

Who are you?
An infatuation?
Crush?
Or what?

It has just been three days
We are now friends
I don't know if I should confess
As my feelings are a mess

I am attracted
To your character
But not your soul

What I learnt
From my ex
Was choosing a person
Who can love you like no one else

You are not a person
Who wants love
It's only me
Who needs it I guess

I had pledged that
My next love
Would not be as simple as that

I would take my full time
Have a good research
And then
Won't leave that soul
In any case

I once again ask
Who are you?
You are messing me up
Just like him

Seeing you
Is a bliss
As I have lost my only one first
"Boy-friend"
Now I don't know how to interpret you

I don't know how a guy's friendship is
May be you will help me figure out

Now I have changed my decision
You are my friend
I will not break our friendship
Till the end

But who knows
My stomach starts jumping
Heart starts thumping
When you see my eyes
The next time
