*Alec's pov*
I was sitting outside my dorm. Taking in fresh air. I glared back down.
Gold: Alec!
I look up, seeing Gold running towards me. She seems happy today. I start to stand up.
Alec: Hey Gold!
Gold: How are you?
Alec: I'm doing great. How about you?
Gold: I'm so glad your doing wonderful! My day has been great! Me and Kyran are going onto our 1 year today!
Alec: I'm happy for you both! Me and Funneh would be going onto our 2 year anniversary.
Gold: I'm so happy for you two! Isn't your anniversary tomorrow?
Alec: Yeah.
Gold: How sweet. What are you planning on doing?
Alec: Well, i'll just visit her and spend my day with her...
I looks up at the sky and start to tear up. Gold then sighs.
Gold: Alec...I know how much you love her and how much you care for her but..You have to move on, sooner or later. Why else isn't she giving you some sign? Because she's pushing you away, Alec. She loves you and cares for you...She really does. But you have too, move..away.
Alec glares at Gold then to the ground. Giving her no sign of acknowledgement. He just stares away.
Gold: Let that process a bit..I'll see you later Alec, i'll see you when college happens. Bye.
Gold looks at him for one more second before turning around and walking off. Alec moves his eyes, following Gold. He finally turns his head fully. He sighs, walking back inside his dorm and heading upstairs to his room.
Alec: Maybe she's right...
Alec plops down on his bed, gripping his head.
Alec: Funneh would want me to move on...Right?
He glances over at Bunzo, picking him up and putting the stuff animal in front of him.
Alec: What do you think? You've known her for years..
Alec starts dropping tears and setting Bunzo down beside him.
Alec: I was hoping it would never come to this point...Why am i still crying over something that happened a year ago? What is wrong with me...I'm sorry...I have to trust Gold on this one.
Alec gets up, putting on a big fake smile while wiping away his tears.
He starts heading back for his front door, heading outside.
Alec: You know what- Let's go for a walk.
Alec then glances at the sky one last time before gently smiling and walking off.
He was walking for about 5 minutes when he came across that ice cream shop.
Alec: Memories.
Alec heads inside.
Worker: Wow- Never thought I'll see those eyes again.
Alec: Are you f*****g kidding me right now?
Worker: I see you don't have your girlfriend with you? Hmm. She was fun to mess with.
Alec: Oi, watch it.
Alec approaches the counter.
Worker: Did you guy's break up?
Alec: Your getting on my nerves, do you REALLY wanna know what happened to her?
Worker: I do. Did she move?
Alec: No. She died. She's dead. She's no longer in this world.
Worker: What?...
Alec: The world is a cruel place.
Worker: How did she die!
Alec: She was murdered last year.
Worker: Last...year? So- I met her a few months prior to her dying?
Alec: Yes, happy that you finally have your answer?
Worker: I- I'm so sorry. I didn't know she died!!
Alec: It's fine. I'm trying to still push pass it.
Worker: Totally understand-
The worker put her arm out for Alec to shake.
Worker: My name is Ashley.
Alec hesitated for a bit before taking her hand and shaking it.
Alec: Alec.
Alec and the worker talked for a bit before exchanging numbers.
Ashley: Bye!! Have a good one!
Alec: Yeah, you too.
Alec leaves the ice cream shop.
Alec: Great. I left the ice cream shop with my deceased girlfriends enemies number. What am I gonna do with my life.
Alec walks away. He decided to just head home for the day. That girls encounterment was enough.
After he got home, he got a text. He grabbed out his phone to check it. He wasn't surprised when the girl texted him.
Alec: Jesus. Of course it's has to be her.
*Ashley*
Ashley: Hey!
Alec: Hi?
Ashley: How are you?
Alec: Why are you really texting me? We've spent nearly an hour talking already.
Ashley: No reason.
Alec: Okay, then bye.
Ashley: Wait!
Alec: What?
Ashley: Do you maybe wanna- Hangout tomorrow?
Alec: ....Sorry, I can't. It's my 2 year anniversary with Funneh, I'm hanging out with her tomorrow.
Ashley: Are you lying because you like me?~
Alec: Ew- No, but I am telling the truth. She's still my lover.
Ashley: She's dead, Alec! Move on!
Alec: You have NO room to tell me to move on!
Ashley: Look, that b***h got what she deserved. Move..the..f**k..ON! With someone like me!! I'm better!!
Alec: You sound like Felicia.
Ashley: Who's Felicia?
Alec: BYE FELICIA!
Alec hops off and blocks her.
He sighs while dropping his phone on his bed.
Alec: Next time I see that psycho- She'll be next on my list. No one EVER talks bad about a dead person...EVER!!
