Chapter 24: Explanation

Funneh and Alec made it to Gold's place. Before they got out the car, they checked every corner on the block. Making sure Prince isn't snooping around and was secretly following them.

Funneh: Alright, I don't see Prince anywhere.

Alec: That's a good thing.

Alec get's out of the car and wraps around to Funneh's side. Opening up her door and offering a hand to her.

Funneh: Thank you.

Funneh get's out and starts checking her surroundings one last time before knocking on Gold's door.

Gold comes fast and opens it up. Letting them inside.

They both walk in.

Gold: Please, come sit.

Alec: Where's Kyran?

Gold: He's upstairs. He should be down here soon.

Alec nods.

Gold: Okay, So- How did this all happen? How did the conversation spark with you too?

Funneh: Let's start from the beginning, so- I woke up at about approximately one hour before my alarm went off. I attempted to fall back asleep, but couldn't. So, I decided to just go downstairs and you know- Take a breather outside. I went outside and decided to sit on the steps. About 5 minutes in- I looked up and of course It was f***ing Prince just dead staring at me. We started the conversation off with me saying his name and him saying my name. Weird way to start a conversation. I know. I got up and- Got a little closer to him. He was acting as if he was just taking a walk. A stroll around the dorms.

Gold: But i thought he hated "poor people that lives in dorms"?

Funneh: Exactly, i pointed that s**t out. I may not have dated him to know what he likes or dislikes. But that lie was to obvious and we all know he hates walking around "poor people".

Alec: Sounds like Prince-

Gold cut's Alec off.

Gold: So- Then what? Did he get defensive when you pointed him out?

Funneh: ...Surprisingly...No- He didn't hesitate to give me the real answer. He straight up said "Were's Gold?". I mean- pfft, if he really think i'll just give him an answer with a snap of a finger- Something's wrong.

Alec: Does he think your a loud mouth?

Gold and Funneh start laughing.

Gold: Haha, she is a loud mouth- Just not around that jerk. He really is a dumb@ss for not putting thought into his words. Could've hid his lies. Now- It's written all over him. From top to bottom.

Gold starts laughing more before they hear laughing from the stairs. They all look up.

Kyran: Prince is just a little special. Nothing new.

Gold: Oh! Hey Kyran.

Kyran walks over to the couch and sit's down.

Kyran: Hey, did i miss much besides you guy's talking about how stupid Prince could be?

Funneh: Nothing much, just told Gold my stupid encounterment with Prince. Nothing to big. Nothing to shabby.

Kyran: Yeah, i really don't want to know. Honestly- I may sound stupid right now but, i'm not that worried about Prince. Like, honestly Gold- Do you think he'll really hurt us? He's nothing like Yandere, he's just a little obsessed with you.

Alec: I'm sadly gonna-...Have to agree with him on this one.

Funneh: Put's me at ease. Gold?

Gold: ...Huh? O-Oh! Yeah, i guess i couldn't argue that.

Alec: Great, now that we got that out of the way- I gotta get going to my mom's. I haven't talked or seen her for a few weeks. Same for Aly. Funneh, you wanna stay or come?

Funneh: Hmm, I'll stay. 

Alec nods before getting up and grabbing his keys.

Funneh: Drive safe.

Alec: I will.

Alec walks out the front door and to the car.

*Some time later*

It's been about a few good minutes since Alec left Gold's dorm. All Alec could think about is Aly attempting to punch him in the face the minute he walk's through the door. He know's how mad Aly is, she just isn't admitting it nor wanting to text him.

Alec's mind: This is gonna be one unexpected appearance...Please god- Don't let Aly kill me yet.

Alec parks his car in the driveway. Slowly getting out and locking his door. Alec started praying over and over again before approaching the front door.

Alec's mind: You know what- Screw this. I'm knocking. If i unlock that d@mn door- Who knows if i'll live.

Alec stands at the door before taking a deep breath and knocking. He waited a few seconds before hearing footsteps coming his way. The door starts to unlock and slowly open. It was Alec's mom.

Rachel: ...Alec? C-Come on in!

Alec comes on inside, following his mom to the couch and sitting.

Alec: Did you not know i was back? You seem shocked.

Rachel: No, i knew. I was just- I wasn't sure...I thought you would be gone for a good while- I know you Alec...When you leave, there's a low chance on you ever coming back.

Alec: I know and i'm sorry. I won't leave again-

Alec was later interrupted by his sister that went and smacked his shoulder's with both her hands.

Aly: You've got a lot of explaining to do, big brother.

Alec get's up, fast.

Alec: Why did you say it like that? That's terrifying.

Aly crosses her arms while Alec backs up.

Alec: Yeah, i'm good- I'll explain some other time.

Aly: No no, i want an explanation now.

Alec: Uh-

Alec pulled up his wrist, pretending to check the time even though he has no watch.

Alec: You know, i really gotta get going-

Alec turns around and runs straight out the door. Heading to his car and leaving.

Rachel: Come back soon!

Rachel turns towards Aly.

Rachel: You scared him.

Aly: He had it coming.

*With Alec*

Alec: Thank you very much, but i wanna live-

Alec chuckles.

Alec: I mean- That's one way to chase me out of the house. Haha.

Alec laughs a bit more before sighing. He was headed off back to the dorms and takes a glance up at the sky. He smiles before driving the sunny road.

Alec: No more worries. We can finally live a happy life...For now. Haha.

And that's what happened, they finally live something they haven't had for 2 years. A normal life. A story they can speak freely about. Especially towards there kids.

Note: As much as i don't wanna hurry this book- I am. Chapter 25 will be the last and don't worry. There's gonna be a book 3!
