Nerves and anxiety were quickly taking control of Seunghyun's body as he paced back and forth. Where could Jiyong possibly be? Did he get taken by his pimp? Did he find out the truth and runaway?
When he left for work earlier that morning, the younger male was still all curled up in a mess of blankets and fast asleep. But when he returned a few hours later, he wasn't there. Seunghyun immediately started to worry, based solely on the shitty predicament they were in. Anything could have happened to him and the longer time went on, the more horrible possibilities entered his mind.
A few minutes, the front door began to click open, and Seunghyun automatically turned around as the sound hit his ears. He was completely relieved of every worry he had previously felt when he saw Jiyong walk through it, turning around to shut it before he faced him.
"Hey-" Jiyong's sentence was interrupted when Seunghyun pulled him into an air-sucking hug. Jiyong just kind of stood there with his arms laying at his sides, not too sure of what was going on. "Um...hi...?" he said, his face scrunched up in confusion.
"I was so worried," Seunghyun said in a barely audible whisper, his chin resting gently on Jiyong's shoulder.
"Worried? Why?" Jiyong questioned with furrowed eyebrows. Seunghyun snapped out of the the small mental trance he was in and broke the hug, leaving his hands on the younger male's shoulders.
"Where were you?" he asked.
"I was at the grocery store," Jiyong answered nonchalantly, temporarily lifting a few plastic bags in the air. "There was hardly anything to eat in the fridge, so I went after you left," he explained as Seunghyun removed his hands from his shoulders and took a few steps back. "Why were you so worried? I just went to the store, that's all," he added, walking into the kitchen and placing the rustling bags on the counter.
"Because when I got back you weren't here," Seunghyun said, his back facing Jiyong and his fingers temporarily embedded in his hair. Jiyong stopped what he was doing at that moment and looked at the taller male as he started to speak again. "I-I thought...I thought you left me."
No words left Jiyong's mouth as he stared intently at Seunghyun, his eyes blinking with every few passing seconds. He couldn't completely wrap his head around the reason for Seunghyun's worries at first, but then he remembered what happened with his former fiance and it hit him.
"She must have really done a number on you," Jiyong said, his eyes still focused on the man in front of him. Seunghyun turned around at the sound of the younger's soft voice, making their eyes lock on each other for a few seconds.
"I-I know," Seunghyun said, rubbing his face with his hands. "I should be saying thank you. I'm sorry."
"You don't have anything to be sorry for, Seunghyun," Jiyong said as he exited the kitchen and started to walk towards him. He stopped once he was a few inches away from him and took hold of one of his hands with both of his. "I know it hurt when she left you without even saying goodbye, but I'm here to tell you right now that I will never do that to you." Seunghyun only let out a small sigh as his eyes started to fall to the floor. "No, I'm serious." He lifted his head back up when he felt Jiyong take his hands. "No one has ever treated me the way you treat me," he said as he looked away and stepped back. "Every time someone would pick me up, they would always treat me like an object: something they could just buy, use, and then throw away. When you pulled up in your fancy car, I thought it would be just the same. But I was wrong. You're sweet and gentle and you're one of those people who would do anything for anyone, even if it meant you got nothing out of it. You get worried when I go somewhere without telling you not because you're possessive or controlling, but because you care and don't want me to get hurt. No one's has ever been like with me, not even my own parents."
Seunghyun let out a gust of air, partially because he didn't know what else to say, but mostly because of the guilt that was eating away at him, eroding him down until he finally broke into pieces. Jiyong kept walking towards Seunghyun until he was as close as he was before, connecting their hands once again.
"You are probably...no, you are the single nicest person I've ever known," Jiyong said as his eyes blinked with sincerity. "And now that I know what it's like to care for someone and have them actually care about me too, I don't want to give that up. There are still some things we need to work out, but I don't plan on leaving you any time soon if that's what you want."
"Of course that's what I want," he replied, cupping Jiyong's face with his hands. "There's nothing I want more than that. I love you."
Seunghyun was just as surprised as Jiyong that the words came out at all, let alone that they had come up after knowing each other for such a short time.
"Y-You do?" Jiyong asked. "Do you really mean that or are you just saying that so I won't leave?"
"I mean it," he said, staring into his slightly tearing eyes. "I know it's early and we're in a weird situation, but I really mean it."
Smiling, Jiyong leaned up and kissed him, causing Seunghyun's to immediately close as he, too, smiled into the kiss. They both pulled back from the kiss a few moments later, their hearts beating in sync with one another, and Seunghyun smiled warmly at Jiyong before taking him in his arms. A smile grew on Jiyong's lips as his head was pressed gently against the soft, warm fabric of Seunghyun's shirt.
Neither man had ever known what it was like to truly be in love, but they were pretty sure it was something very close to what they were experiencing.

"Hyung, he still hasn't contacted me," Hanbin whined. "Not to mention that it's almost been a week since we filed the report and nothing has come up. How can we even be sure that they're looking for him?"
"I realize that, kid," Dongguk replied in distress, throwing back another swig of beer. "There's no need to remind me."
"Then why are we sitting around waiting for someone else to find him?" Hanbin said, only earning a heavy sigh from Dongguk. "Hyung, we have to be the ones looking for him. I mean, what if they some how find out that he's a prostitute? They'll put him in jail for sure."
"I know that, Hanbin, but what else would you like me to do?" he said, raising his voice at the younger male. Hanbin was slightly startled. "Everyone I've tried talking to hasn't seen him and the stupid fucking number that called to make the appointment is no longer in service. So, please, tell me what the fuck you'd like me to do with all of the information I don't have."
Feeling his eyes began to tear up a little, Hanbin sniffled and wiped his eyes before any tears could fall. "I-I don't know, I just...I'm just worried about him, that's all. W-What if he ran away or something?" he said, his quieter now.
"He wouldn't fucking do that," Dongguk replied. "I told you, he knows where his home is, where he belongs." Hanbin didn't say anything in reply, but there was clearly a lot of doubt written on his face. Dongguk doubted his own words, too, which only made him more frustrated than he already was. "Shit!" he said, abruptly throwing the beer bottle against the wall where it promptly shattered into several pieces.
The action made Hanbin jump in fear, his heart skipping a few beats. Then, Dongguk suddenly stood up and headed to the door. "W-Where are you going?" Hanbin asked, moving his body as he watched him.
"I need to think of a different plan," he said as he wrapped his hand around the door handle. He briefly looked at Hanbin. "I'm bringing him back, even if I have to drag him by his fucking ankles." He swiftly left the apartment after that, slamming the door shut behind him.
