He remembers?
He remembers me?
He remembers us?
Those questions filled Mijo's head once she heard him recall their first meeting. A tear had already slipped down her cheek when he gently wiped it with his finger and then proceeded to place his lips onto hers.
When he pulled out of the kiss, Mijo's eyes were shut but there were still tears streaming down her face. One by one, they were streaming down. It hurt him, but he knew how it felt. That was also how he felt when he realized she was that woman he occasionally saw in his dreams.
Neither of them spoke a word for the next few minutes, letting Mijo soak im everything that had happened.
"I'm not dreaming, am I?" Mijo asked in a shaky voice as she opened her eyes and found him looking at her as if she was going to disappear any minute. She was going to melt at his gaze.
"No, Tokkie, you're not. Everything is real." He assured. Mijo then pulled him into her embrace.
"Thank you for returning," Mijo whispered against his chest.
"Thank you too for waiting for me." He returned and then proposed, "Why don't we talk at home?"

It was 1 PM when Cha Mijo finally woke up from slumber. She had fallen asleep while they were on the road earlier. There was an uneasy feeling deep inside her heart when she realized everything might've only been a dream. Or what if everything was real but he wasn't there anymore.
It took her a few seconds to muster up some courage and head out to her living room hoping to see him there. And when Mijo stepped out to her living room, relief filled her as she saw him sitting on one of her couches.
She was peeking out the doorway when he spotted her. "Hello, would you like to eat?" He offered as she approached him.
Sitting beside him, she requested, "Can we talk about us first..."
Dae-sik nodded. "Both of us have many things to share to each other and talk about. We also have a lot of things to clear out."
"You're right. We can go by turns asking each other?" She proposed. Dae-sik nodded in agreement, then telling her to go first.
"I have tons of questions to ask but I'll start with this. How did our memories return to you?"
Dae-sik drew a deep breath. "If I'm not mistaken, I started dreaming about this woman after I stopped by the beach we used to go to. I occasionally dreamt about her but I couldn't see her face. Then came 2 months ago I met you at the same beach and I must say I was definetely attracted to you."
"So the memories returned 2 months ago?"
"No. You didn't let me finish. It was when we started hanging out that they started returning. I was hospitalized because my body couldn't handle the memories that I was starting to remember."
"Oh." Mijo couldn't look at him now that she found out he went through all of that.
"Don't worry. What's important is I'm alright now." Dae-sik assured as he intertwined their fingers together. "Shall I ask you my question now?"
Once Mijo nodded, he started speaking. "I know it was hard going thru 4 years with out me, but I really want to know why you didn't know about my amnesia."
Mijo tensed up hearing his question. She knew if he found out about his mother's doings, he would be furious at his mother. And the last thing she wanted was for Dae-sik to get mad at her. But he needed to know the truth.
