You were bigger than the whole sky
You were more than just a short time
And I've got a lot to pine about
I've got a lot to live without
I'm never gonna meet
What could've been, would've been
What should've been you

"Mijo, open the door, please. You need to eat." Mijo's mother knocked on her door. For the past days, Mijo's old habit of locking herself in her room returned.
"I don't want to, Eomma! I might as well just die if my life will be like this." Mijo screamed from the inside. Her sentence made her mother panic. The elder woman quickly rushed to her room to find the spare keys for Mijo's room.
Once her mother opened the door, she found Mijo seated on the floor, her eyes bloodshot red from crying, her hair all disheveled. Her mother placed the tray of food on her table before kneeling down to Mijo, holding her by the shoulders.
"Mijo-ah! Please stop doing this to yourself." Her mother says, shaking her body.
Tears started flowing down on Mijo's face. "Eomma it hurts so much." She points to her heart. "It hurts so much. Why does life have to be this cruel. They already took Dae-sik away from me. Why does the universe have to take my son too." Mijo hugged her mother tightly.
Ye-wol looked at her daughter, "My dear daughter, please. Please stay strong for your son. Dae-Han wouldn't be happy to see his mother like this." She caressed Mijo's cheek.
"I don't have anyone else in my life, Eomma. Dae-Han was the only thing that kept me alive. The thought of being able to hold him in my arms, see him grow up made me alive. But why does the universe have to be so cruel." Mijo continued to sob like a baby.
"Dear, always remember me, Mi-hyeon and your friends are here for you, alright? Never think you're alone. You have us by your side."
"I knew I shouldn't have went there. If only I didn't go there then maybe I'd still have Dae-Han here with me. This is all my fault, Eomma. Everything's all my fault."
Ye-wol cupped Mijo's face tighter. "Listen to me, my dear. No one is at fault and it is most importantly not YOUR fault, my dear. You know why you went there and it wasn't your intention to do anything that could harm you."
"Eomma." Mijo painfully called out as she hid her face in the crook of her mother's neck. "It hurts so much the pain is indescribable." Mijo uttered.
"Let everything out, my dear. Let all of it out. It's fine, Eomma's here." Ye-wol says, gently stroking Mijo's hair. Mijo cried everything out that afternoon. She couldn't say she let everything out, no matter what she'd do, there was a permanent pain in her heart. The pain of losing her child.

"Cha Dae-Han is... our son." Mijo answered him, tears trickling down her face.
Dae-sik remained silent as he stared intently at the crib, trying to process everything he just heard. With tears blocking her vision, a few minutes later, Mijo finds that Dae-sik is no longer in the room. Running outside, she finds him seated on the edge of the sofa, tears streaming down is face while he raked his hair.
"Oh goodness, just imagine what she's been through, Hyun Dae-sik. You idiot." She could hear him say as he slapped his cheek.
"Dae-sik, what are you doing?" Mijo reprimanded as she sat beside him. "Please stop. You did not know and you yourself was fighting for your life. Don't blame yourself."
