Ever since they found out that they were indeed expecting a baby, Dae-sik had gotten protective of Mijo. Even at Mijo's slightest complaint, he would inmediately appear wherever she was and tend to anything she needed.
Though Mijo was getting annoyed and kept complaining about it he would still do so. In his defense he would always say, "Tokkie, just allow me to do this, please. I wasn't there to take care of you when you were carrying Dae-Han so please let me make up for that now with our little one." And she would always give in everytime.
Now 10 weeks along, they had just returned from Daegu to deliver the great news of Mijo's pregnancy which delighted her family. The news brought excitement to her family especially her mother that has been wishing for a grandchild.
It was 7 AM when Dae-sik woke up to the ringing of his phone. Checking the caller ID, he quickly read that it was Jin-woo. Jin-woo knew they had just returned yesterday and wished to rest for another day, so it made him wonder why he was calling.
"Hello? Yoo Jin-woo you ssaeki you know I'm tired why call me this early in the morning." Dae-sik complained with a groggy voice.
"Excuse me you have a flight to catch later in the evening you better start packing idiot."
His eyebrows furrowed. "You're the idiot. What flight do you even mean."
"Did your secretary not tell you?"
"Tell me what? Can't you see I just woke up?"
Dae-sik could hear Jin-woo facepalm himself. "Don't tell me you don't know yet..."
"Know what?"
"The board wants you to visit the Tokyo branch. It's been decided since like 4 days ago while you were in Daegu. Did she not tell you?"
"WHAT!? I don't want to go! I'm not leaving Mijo."
"Gosh, Dae-sik you're gonna break my eardrums and wake Mijo up with your voice." Jin-woo moved his phone a little further away from his ear.
"Stop complaining. Tell the board to send Eomma or whoever there is. I am not leaving."
"Dae-sik, it's only for a week. Mijo will be fine while you're gone. It's not as if you're gonna return to an empty apartment when you return."
"I. Don't. Care. Tell the board I do not want to go."
"You can't do anything, anymore, Dae-sik. As much as I want to help you, it looks like your mother was the one that suggested you be the one they send to the Tokyo branch. She kept bragging about your accomplishments in the meeting it was annoying."
Dae-sik felt like he was going to errupt. "Oh, goodness. Text me the flight details. I'll get packing."
When Dae-sik got off the call, he runs a hand through his hair and huffs a sigh. "What are you planning to do again, Eomma."

That's Kimchi Jjigae. Mijo thought to herself as she could smell the aroma of the soup from their room. Dae-sik knew she was craving the soup last night but was unable to get her some.
Rubbing her still flat stomach, she lowers her head and whispers excitedly. "Good morning baby. I guess Appa's cooking us some Kimchi Jjigae."
After getting ready, Mijo went out to the dining room and found Dae-sik was already sitting in the dining room with the soup already served on the table while he sipped on his coffee. She frowned when she couldn't spot her mug.
With her arms crossed, Mijo sits down across him and greets him. "Excuse me mister where is my coffee?"
"It's bad for the baby." He reminded her while his eyes were glued to his iPad.
