I'll protect you

~*Chapter 4*~

*Harry's POV*
"Mum I'm home, and I brought friends." I holler walking in with others. My mum runs out of the kitchen so fast she almost falls. Making us all laugh.

"Hey mum this is Niall, Liam, Zayn and Louis." I tell her pointing at  each of the boys. "Nice to meet ya" Niall says. (Sorry I couldn't resist) Shaking my mum's hand.

"Hi boys I'm Anne. Do you all want any snacks or anything?" She ask making us all look at Niall.

"Leave my baby alone,"Liam says wrapping Niall in his arms. "Oh Liam nobody's gonna hurt your precious boyfriend," Zayn says rolling his eyes. "Oh your..." Mum ask pointing at Niall and Liam.

"Mum you don't just ask people if their gay,"I tell her burying my face in my hands. "Harry it's ok. Sorry Mrs. Styles we assumed it was ok. Since Harry was too, but Niall and I can leave,"Liam says.

"Absolutely not honey, I'm so glad Harry has somebody to talk to. Honey you're welcome here anytime all of you are I just have one rule." She says makings all them look at her with a wondering look in their eyes. I already knew what the so called rule was gonna be.

"You boys call me Anne none of this Mrs. Styles crap, understand?" She ask making all of them laugh.

"So what did we decide on snacks? I've got cookies in the oven,"She says. "Yeah that'll be fine thanks mum. We're gonna go upstairs maybe play some fifa. Oh do you think we could order pizza later,"I ask.

"If you want I can go ahead and order it and the cookies can be sorta of desert, ya wanna do that?" She ask making me look at everyone. "Yeah that's fine, thanks mum." I tell her giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Come on boys." I say leading them up the stairs.

"Harry your mum's fooking hot" Zayn says as soon as the door closes to my room.

"Ahhh please don't." I've heard that my whole life. "Harry lad I'm sorry but Zayn speaks the truth. I'm gay and I thought she was hot,"Liam laughs. "Hey your mine,"Niall says.

"Always baby,"Liam says pecking Niall's lips. "But Harry I'm sorry Li and Zayn are both right." Niall laughs making me look to Louis who just nods his head in agreement.

"Harry" Louis says getting my attention away from the fifa game. The boys have been here for about two hours and all we've done is eat pizza and cookies and play fifa.

"Listen I know this maybe hard for you to talk about, but for us to help you at school it'd help if we knew exactly what happened at your old school." He says turning toward me, and making me tense up.

"If you don't wanna tell us I understand we'll still do the best we can,"He says making me take a deep breath.

"No I'll tell you,"I tell them making them all gather around me. "Ok, well everything was fine at school in fact I was mildly popular. But when I came out two years ago everything just came c-crashing d-down,"I say crying as the memories came flooding back.

"Shh just take your time,"Liam says. "Ok well my mum and sister took it f-fine. But when I told m-my b-best friend. He told me I was nasty a-and didn't w-want anything to do with me." I tell them by this point I'm bawling Louis gets up wrapping his arms around me.

"We were l-like brothers I'd known him since I was like four. And yeah that hurt like hell. But when I went to school the next day, I was already sad because the person I thought I c-could always depend on just threw me away. Because of who I love. When I walked in school their was posters everywhere with my picture saying "Harry Styles is a fag." And he'd got a bunch of g-guys and they beat me up everyday for a year and a half. Even though my mum and the principal tried to stop it, it seemed no matter how many times they got expelled they'd just come back worse. And while they were gone they're was always someone there in their little gang to keep beating me up.Please don't freak out with this next part,"I tell them making them nod.

"Well one day it was an extra shitty day," I tell them taking a deep breath. "I tried to kill myself," I cry making them gasp. "I'd had problems with cutting in the past ya know with all the bullying, but I'd gotten somewhat better,"I cried.

"But that day the bullying was extra harsh. And I just figured if nobody wants me h-here I'll do them a f-favor and just end it all. My mum was at w-work s-so it was just me at the house, my mum came home and found me in the b-bathroom floor. I lost so much blood I almost didn't make it,"I cry.

"I know you probably don't want to be my friend now," I tell them not making eye contact. "Come on lads" Louis says and I should have known that they wouldn't wanna be my friend now. Before I could register what's going on I'm was being tackled by all four of them.

"Harry we're not like that, and I'd love to get my hands on some of those guys at your old school,"Zayn says.

"Haz I told you earlier your stuck with me,"Louis says making me smile. "That goes for all of us,"Niall says.

"Really?" I ask them in disbelief. "Harry nobody should be judged because of who they love it's not a choice,"Liam says.

"But one thing you have to promise us is no cutting,"Louis says. "Since I've not been in school I've been doing ok, that's one reason I was so nervous about today,"I tell them.

"Ok so you promise?" Louis ask. "I'll do my best I just keep hearing everything they'd say to me, but I'll try my best," I say looking at my hands. "Harry that's all we ask, "Louis says raising my face so my eyes meet his. Gosh he's so handsome and of course he's straight. "But Harry you can talk to us about anything,"Louis says sitting back down. "Thanks guys," I say.

"Ok lads we can count Harry as part of the gang now we have to protect him,"Louis says making me smile and the others nod. "We all have classes with him except History, which unfortunately he has with Luke and Michael. So we need to make sure we're there to pick him up from that class. I can walk him to it because it's right after home room. We all up for the challenge?" Louis ask making everyone nod.

"Guys thank you so much I realize we just met but I feel like this is  gonna be a life long friendship,"I say with smile.

"Well Haz I gotta go. I gotta make three stops before I acutely get to go home,"Louis says rolling his eyes making me laugh. "We'll see ya tomorrow Harry,"Niall and Liam say hugging me.

"Hey Harry if anybody messes with you tell me. I'll see ya tomorrow,"Zayn says. "Haz is it alright if I come pick you up in the morning. That way you'll be with one of us when you get to school?"Louis ask "Sure, I'll be ready at seven?" I ask "Perfect, see ya tomorrow,"Louis says hugging me.
