I woke early in the morning due to my phone ringing. I glanced around the room before spotting my phone across the room on my dresser. I groaned as I forced myself out from under the warm sheets.

I only had my boxers on at the time, which is what I normally wore to bed.

"Hello?" I answered in a groggy voice. "Bell I have an expensive job for you" a deep voice spoke, it was stern and right to the point. "It'll take some time to complete, estimating around six months or so, you'll be wa-"

I cut the man off quickly, "Nah nah I don't need the details yet, I'll take the job. I'll head over this afternoon" I stated with a confident tone. The man over the phone didn't need to explain, he already had my attention at an expensive job. "Excellent, I will be awaiting your arrival." The man spoke before hanging up. I began gathering things I believed I would need. The job could be snapping someone or hunting a person down. Whatever it was I'd be getting paid well.

I pulled my dresser drawer out and underneath was a trap door that hid a pistol. I kept my weapons hidden throughout my home. "Bellamy? Why are you up this early?" I froze after hearing a voice. I turned placing the gun under some clothes. "Baby, did I wake you?" Shit I had forgotten Nick had stayed overnight. I walked towards the sleepy confused male, the sheets covered his naked body.

"I have to go for a bit," I explained as I sat next to him, planting a kiss on his forehead. "For work? Again?" Nick gave a small pout as I cupped his face. "Yes". "How long?" He questioned me. "About six months, it's a very big opportunity for me," I responded in a shallow tone.

"Six months that's a long time... You're always leaving me behind while you work, I get lonely you know." He released a sign, it was almost like he was trying to guilt-trip me into staying. It wasn't working.

Money came over relationships in my book. "I have a little time to keep you company" I changed the tone of my voice, and a smirk crawled onto my face but Nick turned away from me. I leaned in, my body now against his.

My hand rubbed up and down his arm, as I planted a kiss on the back of his neck, "Don't be like that" I whispered to him in a soothing voice, "You can finally put those toys I got for you to good use" I said with a cheeky smile "Maybe you can send some videos, showing me how much you appreciate them"

Nick looked back at me with a small frown, "You always talk with your dick" he huffed. I chuckled at his remark, it was true. "I promise when I'm done I won't take on any more jobs for a while and spend all my time with you" I leaned in kissing his soft lips. "You promise you'll take a break after this trip?" He broke our kiss. "Yes," I assured him. Of course, it depended on how much those jobs would reward me with, if it was a big one I would take it.

"You never talk about what you do, what is it?" He asked. I stared at him before moving on top of the male, "Enough talk about my job, I have enough of a headache just thinking about it" I leaned into a kiss.

Nick kissed back, it wasn't long before our kiss escalated to a deep kiss. I moved from his mouth to his neck, kissing and sucking lightly as Nick let out airy breaths.

I arrived at my destination, great anchors of land and a large mansion place in the middle of it. So beautiful. A place, I wish to someday achieve to have. The doors to the mansion were opened for me, way before I stepped onto the porch. "Damn," I gaze around the flawless home.

It looked like a castle, with great aesthetics and decor. "Marlin~ it is great to see you again" I placed my things down as a man in a tux came down from the top of the stairwell. "Bell my boy, you are looking well" Marlin was the boss of the most feared mafia group. Truly a scary man, when he wanted to be.

Marlin walked up to me patting my shoulders. "Going somewhere nice?" I examined his clothing, everything this man had one screamed of wealth. "Yes, a ball for the mafia. I plan to make some contracts that can further build my mafia stronger" he spoke with power in his voice. He held himself high, standing with a great and powerful posture. "I'm sure you will sir. Now what's the job you have for me? I brought my best guns along." I was ready for any task, life or death.

"Ah, right" Marlin cleared his throat, "The job isn't quite what you think" he explained. "Have you ever met my son?" He glanced at me with a side eye, putting his arm around me as we walked deeper into the mansion. "No, I actually didn't know you had a son" I raised a brow.

"I do and he's your age. Very skilled in combat, he's my pride and joy. My trusty heir" Marlin praised his son. "But. He's a shrewd mess, a disgrace to this family. That cursed boy is out of control!" He began to get worked up. "He goes around embarrassing my name, sleeping around is one thing but with other men! That is unacceptable!" He hissed.

I rolled my eyes once he mentioned his son was a disgrace for sleeping with men, "Sir what does this have to do with me?" I questioned, wanting to get to the point. "Right, sorry" Marlin huffed, "I have many enemies who want to bring me down. My son, Adrian is very reckless with his actions. He is a danger to himself" he spoke, "I wish for his safety, but his actions need to be tamed, I know someone will use my son against me. That's why, only for a few months. I need you to be his bodyguard"

"You want me to babysit?" I couldn't withhold my disappointment from my face as I crossed my arms. "Ah, bodyguard." Marlin corrected "I'll triple your usual amount, this is a big deal for me." his eyes shifted fully to me. His gaze was hard to meet.

I cleared my throat, this was an offer I couldn't refuse, plus I already made the trip here. "Fine, I'll do it, but only for six months, I have a lover to rerun to," I grumbled as Marlin put his hand out, which I shook sealing the deal. "Oh, do you? I bet she is gorgeous. Now let's meet my son" Marlin grinned leading me.

I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, but I knew I was going to get paid heavily.
