"Babe. I know you wanna." Harry's husky voice says through the speaker of my phone as I towel dry my hair.
I sigh. But, Harry is right, I do want to. Yet on the other hand, I don't want to seem too eager or clingy. "I don't know Harry." I say.
"It's Friday! You shouldn't have anything to do." He teases.
                              "Ha, ha, so funny."
                              "Isabelle." He says. "Please."
I'm silent as I fight to remain strong.
                              "Isabelle, luv. Please."
His soft voice makes me shiver and my resolve crumbles. "Ok, ok. I'll come." I say.
"YES!" He shouts happily and I laugh.
"That excited to see me, huh?" I playfully tease.
"You know it." He replies and I can mentally see him winking at me. A wide grin spreads across my face.
"I'll see you later tonight then." I say.
                              "Seven o'clock." Harry reminds.
                              "Yup."
                              "My house." He continues.
I roll my eyes. "I heard it all the first time Harry." I say with a chuckle.
"Alright, bye babe." Harry says, his voice low and seductive.
                              I laugh. "Bye."
I hang up and place my phone in its dock. I then flop back onto my bed and sigh, my mind reeling. It had only been one day since Harry and I's date, not including today. Thursday was the only day I hadn't seen him and already he's asking me out again.
That should be a good thing right? Then why do I feel so hesitant? The darkness within me stirs, giving me my answer.
I don't want to be hurt... Again.
Yet, as I think of Harry; his handsome face and charming personality, I don't see him hurting me. All I see is him blocking the darkness. My lovely distraction.
I smile and feel a fluttery warmth in my stomach. I groan as I realize that what Violet told me last night is true.
                              *****
"Can we please stop talking about Harry in terms of One Direction please." I say, a bit annoyed as Violet and I lounge on her bed.
Her room is pretty much the opposite of mine. The walls are a faded, dark pink while the ceiling is white and the floor is a cream colored carpet. Her bed has pure white sheets with a light pink comforter while her pillows are hot pink and striped with cream. She also has two mahogany nightstands; both with lamps, a mahogany desk; her MacBook Pro nestled in its cluttered depths, and a mahogany vanity; her walk-in closet next to it.
