***RECAP***

Isabelle went to a Halloween party with the boys of 1D. She and Harry almost did the dirty, Harry getting super pissed at the almost part (because ya know he's only using her for sex). They got into and fight and Isabelle got super wasted. After awhile, Isabelle made Liam take her to the 1D house in order to work things out with Harry. Upon Isabelle's arrival, she discovers Harry doing the dirty with Violet. She also finds out that Harry and Violet's indiscretions have been happening all through out Isabelle and Harry's "relationship". Isabelle is completely heartbroken and returns to her house with Liam. She then breaks down, smashing up the house and running around in the woods to try and lessen her pain. It doesn't work. Meanwhile, Liam feels compelled to help Isabelle for reasons he understands but would rather not acknowledge. The morning after this tragic incident, Isabelle finds herself strangely trusting in Liam more than she believes she should. This causes her to turn herself away from the world and the people in it. Liam tries to fight against this and before being forced to leave Isabelle's house, he argues for the right to come back later in the day. After he leaves, he winds up getting involved in an argument at his house. The previous chapter ends with Liam storming away from the arguing household in order to return to Isabelle.

Everything is silent. That's what scares me the most, the silence. After stepping through the door I left unlocked, the eerie emptiness that swallows me incites worry right below my sternum. I feel it, almost burning, as I glance around Isabelle's house.

"Isabelle?" I call, my voice bouncing off the walls.

Nothing.

I hastily climb the stairs, each foot thudding against the carpet. I take a quick peek into the bathroom, but with no movement I head to her room. I open the door slowly, my pulse thrumming anxiously against my skin.
