A Life Not So Charmed

Corey And Cole.

It's officially my sabbatical and maternity leave today. I am so excited, i finally got my wish today, Cole has been perfect, he's been up for hours, he made Piper, Leo, Paige and Henry some breakfast.

Paige comes down with Henry first, she actually said something nice to Cole, she looked at the table and says, "wow Cole, it seems Piper has been a good influence on you. All those years in the manor watching her cook. Thanks for breakfast we all have a big day ahead of us."

Piper and Leo finally came down, Piper said, "this looks amazing Cole, i don't see any staff here, i assume you cooked this feast for us?"

Cole replied, "I did you taught me well Piper. Thank you., dig in. We need to be at the hospital for 9:00am. Are the kids coming to meet their new cousins?"

Piper replied, "once they're born safely as they're two months early, if they're healthy, I'll call for the children, i know Paige is bringing the kids too. Let's just see how the next few hours go."

I couldn't eat breakfast, i had a fruit juice instead. I'm not even supposed to have that, but i knew if i only had sips, it'll be ok? Leo and Piper went and got dressed after breakfast, thanking Cole for it. Paige and Henry were already dressed.

Henry and Paige asked Cole if he had the maternity bag sorted? Cole pointed to the bags near the door.

Henry asks, "you're not the same Cole my gorgeous wife vanquished all those years ago?"

Cole looked at Paige and then to Henry and answered, "indeed i am, im human now. It was my reward for helping Piper."

"Ah, that's cool, this is a great second chance for you. Married to Phoebe again, becoming a dad for the first time."

Cole replied, "yes and i don't ever want to change it. I'll make her happier for as long as we both live."

Paige smiled, she said, "Cole, don't take this the wrong way, but this is the first time I've ever believed you."

Cole waved his hand, then said, "it's bygones Paige. I am sorry for what i put you through back then. It was unfair, but it wasn't me. The source made me do those things. I have often thought, had i told Phoebe about the seer then none of it would've happened. I should've came to you all. That life is fading from me, i can barely recognise the demons now. I guess i could be going a little senile being one hundred and thirty."

Paige smiled, "you know what, you should have came to us, we could've vanquished the seer and expelled the source from you. Although it's in the past, we are about to meet your future lineage."

I watched Cole smile, it was like the freeze between him and my family was thawing. I thought, it's about time, we had a special day today. An extremely special day and i wanted those that i love the most to be here to celebrate it with us. I finally got dressed and we all made our way to the hospital, only Cole was allowed to come into theatre. Cole had to scrub up, i was being prepared for surgery, the others were in the waiting room.

Piper and Paige had the kids orb in, they waited until Cole came and said the first one was out, they had to take the smallest one out first. The twin was small, weighing in at 5.5lbs the second boy was out weighing 8.5lbs for twins this early it was incredible. On the way out, the largest one gave me a past vision, it showed Coop and Billie together before we split up.

I could hear Billie say, "Coop you need to tell her about us."

It finally made sense, why i had that dream about Cole, the constant never being there, the lack of communication before we split, Coop signing the divorce papers so quickly, Billie pregnant and married so quickly. I also wondered what the Elders thought about their golden boy? I didn't tell anyone about the vision, i will tell them but I'll have to wait until I'm out of hospital and the twins are settled. The twins, Cole and my family were my priority right now.

I was taken to recovery, where Cole was waiting with our boys, when i seen the smallest one for the first time, he looked exactly like the baby in my dream, the dream from years ago, when the seer was in it, when she took him from me. Cole had the biggest smile on his face, he was even singing to them.

They both began crying, a nurse came in and she helped me get them on the breast, they began suckling straight away. I would be in a room soon, i could sense Piper and Paige's excitement from the room. Once i moved to my room, the family filed in, Piper, Paige, Leo, Henry and the kids. They were excited to see their new cousins. Cole and i still hadn't came up with names for the boys.

I was now exhausted, Paige and Leo orbed the kids home, then came back to help Cole with setting up the nursery and having the house ready for my return. It was sure hard having twins. I begged Leo to heal me, i hate hospitals. Leo obviously refused, but Piper brought with her a salve, the one once used when Cole was Balthezor, when he was under the spell of Raynor and killed the witch that made it.

Piper applied it and it was doing the job. I asked the doctors to release me, i was ready to go home. I wanted to put the twins in their bassinets and crawl into my own bed. The doctor looked at my wound and was surprised at how quickly it was healing. The doctor advised me against it, but since i was healthy, the twins were healthy, i could finally go home. Piper helped me pack, we got the twins ready and called Cole to come and pick us up. Leo and Henry helped him install the car seats.

Piper asked, "so, what are you going to name them?"

I looked down at their two beautiful faces, then said, "Cole and i will name them when we finally get through the list we made."

Cole was stood at my room, with flowers, two balloons saying, 'it's boys.'

He looked at me and said, "ready to go home you four."

Piper and i said at the same time, "we're ready. Let's get home."

The house was abuzz with activity, Grams was there, mom was there and Prue was also there, all of them corporeal to boot.

Grams couldn't help herself, she said as soon as she seen Cole, "you best stay away from all things evil, you look after those three, I'll be watching you closely."

Prue came and hugged us both, all the while looking in the car seats of our little ones, i could tell by the look in her eyes, it was always something she wanted, especially with Andy, the true love of her life.

Mom walked slowly towards us.

Mom didn't say anything to Cole that was mean, opening her arms, "congratulations both of you, those little ones will have a great future in front of them, especially with you two as their parents. I'm so happy for you both."

For the first time in decades, i was genuinely happy, i then told everyone about the vision the baby gave me.

Prue in her sharp tone, "you're shocked about this? You know I've never trusted Cupids, nor did i ever trust Coop and Billie."

Leo didn't seem surprised by this, i asked him, "right Leo spill it, you knew didn't you?"

Leo couldn't look at me straight in the face, then eventually replied, "Billie might no longer be my charge but white lighters talk. They told me a while ago and the Elders told me not to tell you."

Grams couldn't help herself again, "well she couldn't have done anything worse than what Cole did."

"Grams, enough." I demanded. We all gathered to wet the babies heads, then sat down to try and name them. We finally decided on Corey and Cole.
