A Life Not So Charmed

The Hollow.

Days passed since Leo orbed home, i promised to give them the space to talk. Prue and Cole began commuting to work together, Andy was barely home, but Prue had noticed something since returning to earth, she feels different, she feels very protective of her tummy area. I had a premonition that she would find out soon that she would discover that she would become a mother. I won't ever tell her, it's for her to discover, i can't impose on that special moment.

Prue was younger than us, she died young as did Andy. Prue also told us that Paige had orbed to see her with Henry and the boys. I believe that's a good sign, that if Paige still has her orbing powers as does Leo, that there's a high chance they know and they're ready for us to depart from them. I may be counting my chickens before they've hatched, but i need to be optimistic, i have to be. I am a mother, a wife, a sister and an aunt.

The family needs me, i need to use my psychology degree to workout where all this will terminate? I am positive it'll workout. I was feeding the twins and in orbs an Elder, something i didn't expect, but he came in.

He introduced himself as Matías, he said, "you've started a revolution up there, the majority of Elders support this new situation, but your family has been by our sides since the beginning of time, we will be sad to see you go, although the minority that doesn't support it, will fight us at every turn."

I told Matías to sit down and hear me out, he said, "Phoebe, you've known for a long, long time we never listen in, but this situation has changed that, we have listened to you all discuss leaving your duties and continue solitary. If you do, you'll need to make sure that you continue on a passive path, that you'll continue to do good with your gifts?"

As astonishing for me to be thinking of the Elders and one orbs in, it confirmed what i had already guessed, that our new journey will be fine as will Leo and Pipers, i hope they listen.

I called Piper as soon as the Elder left, she replied, "he came here too, but he said something quite the opposite should Leo shirk his duties as a white lighter."

I asked, "so, does this mean what i think it means?"

Piper replied, "yes, we will join you on this journey without the Elders as long as Leo still looks after all his charges."

"So, will he?" I asked. Piper laughed, "you know Leo, there's nothing more important to him than his family and his charges."

Piper was right, i told her that she has nothing to worry about, Leo would never neglect his duties, as a husband, as a father or a white lighter.

Piper replied, "well, if we are going to do this, it has to be now while the children are still teenagers, but they'll ultimately be given a choice, whether to carry on the Halliwell legacy or come along with us? Leo and i are sitting down with the boys and Melinda tonight. You'll get an answer tomorrow."

I told her that i shall await her decision as well as the children's.

Now there was now the issue of Paige and Henry, will they be joining us?

I called for Paige, she orbed in, she too had news, "Phoebe, you were right, we have lived under their rules far too long, i always knew it. I joined you guys after Prue died, i never wanted to be a witch, but I'm a white lighter as well, that i was born as. So, i will like Leo still look out for my charges, we can still battle whomever and let our children lead their own paths. We can't force them to become what we were forced to do."

I was delighted, i called Prue and told her the news, that Paige has decided, that Piper is talking to the children tonight. Prue was beginning to get excited, i told her to let's just wait and see, we have one more family to join us. If we lose them, it'll be ok, the Elders will look after them. I had just got off the phone with Prue and Piper, Leo, Chris, Wyatt and Melinda orbed in. They had made their decision, they too were joining us, a new chapter but not charmed. We might not be charmed but we were still powerful witches, our nieces and nephews are half white lighters, they can still carry on the legacy on some level, which is why the Elders are slightly ok with it all.

That's when we had a visit from Matías again, he came in and said, "the vote was unanimous, you'll still be on our radar but not under our rules as long as the white lighters do as they're told, meaning with their charges."

Piper bought dads cabin, she never told us she was buying it, but as a restaurant owner, the cabin had lots of land, a huge barn and boathouse. Piper plans to put a restaurant in the barn and people that sail the lakes can stop by for something to eat. Leo had already began on the renovations, we didn't know this, but from a business perspective it was perfect. We won't sell our house on Prospect and Pine, the nexus needs protection, we will let San Francisco covens use it as a gathering place, we have placed a seal on the basement door, we have blessed crystals on each corner of the basement, no evil can get to it.

I waited for Cole to arrive home to give him the news, he was delighted. Then Cole gave us news we weren't expecting, something or someone has accessed The Hollow, i instantly got a premonition, it was Billie, it seems her divorce from Coop has sent her over the edge, we needed to find her, since the last time The Hollow was released we came up with a power protection spell to stop it taking our powers, we must find it and her to send it back.

Billie has no idea of the spell, in fact we created once she was out of our lives. Billie won't be able to suck us of our powers. Prue said the spell as she was more powerful now, than before she died. We were now protected, we scryed for The Hollow and found it, it was in Canada, it seems that's where Coop was placed after Leo had a word with the Elders, it's where he and Billie bought a house. They planned to live there together, but they had a baby and their plans went south. I think Coop would want to stay close to his child.

It was quite the conundrum for me, seeing Coop after these few years, but he doesn't deserve whatever Billie has in store for him? The best course of action would be for us to orb there with the spell to send The Hollow back. We arrived in an apartment, it was Coop's i would notice the smell of that cologne anywhere, he wasn't here. Leo told us that he was away making a match between a couple and was due back any minute and Billie was too, well on her way.

We sat down in the lounge and Coop came in, he demanded to know why we were here? Especially me.

I blurted out, "Coop, you're in danger, i have no idea what went on between Billie and you, but she has absorbed The Hollow, she's coming here for you. We have a plan to stop her, that's why we are here. Then we will leave you be once this is over."

Coop sat down not saying another word and in walked Billie, she laughed, "you think you can stop me? I'll drain all of you of your powers and take over the world."

The four of us said the spell as she tried and failed to take our powers, The Hollow was soon back in its box. Leo took the box and brought it up to the Elders, we told Billie and Coop to sit and talk about their issues. We walked out and Coop didn't lift his head to look at me. I was ok with that, i know how much i hurt him. We warned Billie that if she tried to hurt another celestial that we will strip her of her powers and she won't ever be able to practice the craft again.

Billie tried to apologise but we all left. We returned home, to a gorgeous meal cooked by Cole. It also occurred to me, that the Elders were ok with Billie practicing the craft alone? Why?
