Well here we are, a beautiful baby girl, we had a midwife there checking her over and she was perfect. Dad made it just as the midwife was leaving, even though Leo and Piper were there, they were quite mature with each other. The midwife left as soon as she deemed Prue and the baby healthy, dad was delighted to have another grandchild, we had a quick visit from mom and Grams, they said their congratulations to Prue and Andy, they scolded Piper and Leo and left.

Piper and Leo were adult in front of the children, but they weren't babies, they understood and Melinda who was the one with the most angst, she told her mother that she made her father mortal to live without her, that she will move in with her father and will only see her mother at weekends. The fact that Melinda wanted to stay with her father upset Piper gravely, but she wouldn't stand in her way. Chris and Wyatt told their parents they wouldn't take sides, that they will get the best of both worlds living with each of them. The only gripe was the same as Melinda's that Piper made Leo become mortal. Though that's something none of them understand, is that the Elders made Leo mortal.

Cole and i cleaned up the lounge, i went to our boys in my old room and fed them. Suddenly a huge row erupts, Piper and Melinda were screaming at each other. Melinda was that furious she began blowing things up, the house was shaking.

I gently put the boys back in their cribs with their pacifiers and yelled downstairs, "Melinda Halliwell, how dare you. Using your powers against your mother. The Elders won't be happy with you and you won't get them back."

Melinda began to cry, she blubbered, "aunt Phoebe, but our family is broken. I know dad has done some awful things, no doubt you all have. The problem i have isn't truly their divorce, but she finally got him as a mortal, this time there's no way back. The Elders came to see me after the Matías issues, they told me that they're done with dad, after all he's done for them. I also don't have an issue with dad being mortal. I have issues that mom got what she wanted and tossed him away like trash."

I sensed her frustration, her anger but most of all her divided loyalty, she loves her mom very much, she loves her father as much. I don't think she has a true issue with the divorce, just a young teenager, a smart one. Perhaps too smart for her own good. I understood that she is hurt, but it's not totally down to the fact her parents have reached their end, but down to the fact she has no one to teach her the ways of being a loyal soldier.

Melinda hasn't forsaken her Wiccan duties, in fact she's embraced the legacy more than any of us ever did. I calmed her down and told Wyatt to orb up and speak with the Elders so they don't take away her powers. Wyatt went without hesitation, he came back and said they had no intention on taking her powers, as she's on their side. Melinda pledged her allegiance to the Elders, she will continue the Wiccan path. The fact made Leo smile, but he asked that she visit them and ask them to show her the way. Melinda soon had her own white lighter.

The house was finally calm, Prue and Andy were relaxing in Prue's old bedroom with the baby, she was soon shocked, the nameless little one sent her a telepathic message. This was the first time she discovered her daughters powers.

Prue turned to Andy and said, "she's telepathic, she told me she was hungry."

Andy came lay alongside them both, in the hope of getting a message too, he did, she said, "i love the name Amber, please don't let mom call me Priscilla."

Andy smiled and Prue asked, "what did she say?"

Andy replied, "she loves the name Amber, that she hates the name Priscilla."

Prue looked down at their daughter and said, "Amber it is then."

The three of them fell asleep on the bed, ignoring the chaos downstairs, they both revelled in the birth of their beautiful little girl. I was asked by Melinda to take her to her dads? I told her that i needed to feed the boys, that Cole can take her? Melinda grabbed her things and kissed her brothers goodbye for a little while, that she will see them soon. Piper was devastated, she lost her husband and daughter all in the space of a few days.

Melinda said to Cole, "I'm ready now uncle Cole. When you get back, tell aunt Prue I'll be along to see the baby and them in a few days, i need to calm down."

Cole told her he would pass on the message.

Cole got back from dropping her off, he heard Prue in the kitchen comforting Piper, but he decided to leave them to it. Cole came to our room and helped me with the boys, we settled them down and crawled into bed.

Cole laughed and said, "many happy and unhappy moments in this room. I never in my wildest dreams did i ever expect to be lying here, you looking gorgeous and two beautiful boys in their cribs."

I grabbed his face and straddled him, we were soon making love, although quietly, we couldn't allow Piper to hear moans of pleasure. Piper was a wreck, but i told Prue that we must be there for Piper.

Paige again began blaming Cole for all of this.

I called her and asked, "how is he to blame?"

Paige rattled on about how things have upended our lives since he returned. I reminded her that it was i that sought Cole out, it wasn't the other way around. Paige of course wouldn't listen, i told her that she needs to let go of the past or at least seek more therapy. Paige is too self righteous for her own good at times.

I told Cole to ignore her, that she has a bee in her bonnet and it'll soon return to the hive. I was right, she called back and apologised. The baby kept us updated on how she was feeling through telepathy. Amber told Prue and Andy when she was hungry, that she was cold, that she wanted a cuddle. We seen to her every whim, it was exhausting in all honesty.

I'm glad we were all in the manor together, Wyatt and Chris were a godsend, she was even sending them messages, this was really helpful, it meant she had others come to her whims as well. Amber was a true peacekeeper when it came to Leo dropping Melinda off, she told them to be nice to each that they must behave in front of her. Melinda took great interest in Amber, when Amber needed to go for a stroll, Melinda took her around the block, i watched as she swaddled her with great care and sought out a pacifier if she needed one.

Melinda was now had an interest in something other than her parents marriage troubles. Melinda gave Prue and Andy a much needed break, that's when they had the courage to let go of her. I'm now fulfilled. We finally had what we wanted our perfect families. All except Piper and Leo for now. I soon began writing my columns again, although not all were about love, i fastidiously realized, that the world has a whole myriad of other issues and not all of it was about love or the lack thereof. I was finally home, not just at the manor, with my boys and Cole, my world couldn't be more happier.
