Children - Mix(?)

Ink sighed contently, leaning against the doorframe that lead outside. There was a porch you had to cross before landing on the grass, but it was still to the outside. Ink's little getaway home was in a very pretty surface AU that was basically spring all year round. That meant there were flowers blooming all around. However, that meant that they rarely ever stopped. Usually when Ink came back here after not coming back for a while, this place was like a jungle.

Anyways! Ink was just looking at the beautiful blue sky—the sun shining down on him. You may be wondering: 'why is he doing this?' Well, typically, this was the time of the year where the bad guys took a break. No one knew why, but they stopped completely during this time. So that meant Ink had free time. And as you can see, he chooses to use that free time here.

"Dada!" A child came running, tugging on Ink's sleeve. Oh, and that.

Ink turned to look at the child, leaning down a little. "Yes, Obsidian? What do you need?"

"Diamond threw her notebook at my face!" Obsidian pouted, tattling on another child whose name was Diamond. Very interesting names, eh?

The child that we can assume is Diamond came running into the room very shortly after Obsidian said that. "No I didn't!! He's lying!"

"You're lying!!"

"No, you are!!"

"Kids, kids. Calm down. One at a time. What happened?" He spoke to Obsidian first.

"Well, Diamond was drawing like usual and I wanted to play with her but then she got annoyed or something for no reason at all and threw her notebook at my face!!"

"Nuh-uh!"

"Diamond, hold on. Wait your turn."

Diamond pouted but stayed quiet.

"And- and then she tried bribing me to not tell you but she hurt me!!!"

"Okay, now, Diamond."

Diamond glares at Obsidian for a second before starting to speak. "Obsidian was being annoying and bugging me to come play with him but when I politely declined he whined and whined and whined. I did lose my temper a little, but I didn't bribe him! I could care less if he tells you!!"

"Then why did you chase me, huh?!"

"Because I can-!"

"KIDS." Ink sternly says. They shut their mouths and look at Ink. "From what I hear, Obsidian wanted to play with Diamond and Diamond got annoyed and threw her notebook at Obsidian. Is that all?"

"No-" Obsidian starts but is interrupted by Diamond.

"Yes! We're done."

Ink sighs. "Okay. And why are you telling me?"

"So you can ground Diamond for hurting me!!!!!" Obsidian says in a matter-of-fact kind of tone.

"No!! I didn't do anything wrong!"

Ink was unsure how to resolve this conflict. So, what does he do? "I'm grounding you both."

"WHAT?!" They both say in unison.

"You both clearly did something wrong. Obsidian; you didn't take no for an answer. That's wrong. Diamond; you hurt Obsidian." Ink stated. He was right!

"But-" Diamond starts.

"No buts. You're both grounded."

That's that. Obsidian and Diamond both knew they couldn't argue with Ink anymore. He had his mind set. Obsidian walks away with a pout. Diamond eventually follows.

Now Ink is alone again.

'Who were those kids,' you may be asking? Those are Ink's children. He gave birth to them! Well, more like he found them in an AU after fighting Nightmare and his gang.

'Who's the father?' Nightmare, most likely. Based on Obsidian's two tentacles.

'Where is Nightmare?' He doesn't know about them. How sad!

He'll probably figure out about them eventually, though. It's a large burden taking care of these two children. But, he does it. Because he loves them very, very much.
