'Food sucks.' Ink thought to himself as he sat by the toilet in his house, forcing himself to puke the food he ate back up.

It had been a hangout with his friends—Dream and Swap—and it had been at a café. Usually Ink just got coffee, but this time they forced him to also get food with it. To not raise suspicion, Ink just ate it.

Of course, though, now he was puking it back up.

"Ink! Are you home?" Swap called, the sound of a door opening and two sets of footsteps entering the home.

Luckily they decided to make their presence known today—otherwise Ink wouldn't have enough time to cover this up.

Ink got the last of it out and quickly stood up, flushing it all down the drain. Ink put his scarf back on because he didn't want to get nasty stuff all over it while doing what he did, and he closed the bathroom door and made his way to the living room where he assumed his friends were waiting.

"Ah, there you are!" Dream said as Ink walked into the room from his hallway.

Ink sheepishly giggled, "Yeah, sorry—I was taking a nap." Lies were something Ink had gotten good at over the many, MANY years.

"Oh no, did we wake you up? I'm sorry!" Dream responded, frowning.

"You're fine, don't worry about it! Anyways, why are you here?"

Swap was the one to respond this time. "Well, Nightmare asked for us to check on you for some reason."

'Nightmare?' Ink pondered.

"Yeah, we have no idea why either! But if they're concerned, we have to check." Swap said.

"So, are you alright, Ink?"

Ink looked between the two, "Of course I am! It was probably Nightmare just being overprotective and anxious again. You know how they can get."

Dream frowned a bit but nodded, "I suppose you're correct. Sorry for bothering you, then."

"It's alright!" Ink exclaimed, "But if you don't mind, could you ask Nightmare at least tell him to come over here?"

"Sure, but why?" Swap asked.

"I don't have a phone—remember? And neither does Nightmare."

"Ah, yes- we'll be on our way!"

'Geez. And they say I'M the forgetful one.' Ink thought to himself.

Then both Swap and Dream left, presumably over to Nightmare's mansion to go tell it to come over here or to relieve them of their worries about Ink.

Either way, Nightmare would (hopefully) have his worries lifted!

After few hours, a knock came around the area of Ink's front door.

Ink set down the pencil he had in his hand and stood up from his desk, rushing over to the door. "Coming!"

When Ink opened the front door, he found that Nightmare was on the other side. "Oh, hello! Why are you here, Nightmare?"

Nightmare made it's way inside, closing the door behind them. "You invited me."
