The Star Sans' were fighting the Bad Guys in a Swapfell AU copy. Things were pretty evened out at the moment!

Swap had taken out Dust and Horror, whilst Ink took out Cross. By 'took out', they just knocked them out. The Star Sans' weren't really known for killing people! At least, not KNOWN for it.

Nevertheless, things were going pretty smoothly for the Star Sans'! Cross had put up quite the fight so Ink was tired and damaged, but overall he was fine. Swap had taken out Dust and Horror without much problem, so he was fine. Dream was tired and hurt, but he was also going strong! Dream had noticed Nightmare wasn't really trying in his battle with the happy-go-lucky skeleton, but Dream didn't pay much mind to it.

However, Ink was paying attention to Nightmare. Who wouldn't when all they've been doing is staring at you?

Swap was fighting Killer currently, whilst Dream and Ink were busy dealing with Nightmare as per usual. Error hadn't shown up just yet — which much of a surprise considering he only showed up to destroy the AU after it had been pretty much completely decimated by the Bad Guys.

Suddenly a thud was heard. Swap had been knocked out cold by a swift hit to the skull by Killer. "Swap!" Dream cried out, lowering his guard. In the split second Dream was focused on Swap, Killer ran over and started swinging his knife at Dream's skull — attempting to knock him out too.

Dream yelped and jumped back, narrowly avoiding the blow. Killer worked at separating Dream from Ink, slowly but surely moving their fight away from Ink and Nightmare's.

Ink was unable to tell Dream what was happening with their fight seeing as he had to one hundred percent concentrate on dodging Nightmare's tentacles. You see, Nightmare was saving his energy for this moment. Almost as if he had planned this fight out completely.

As time went on, Ink got more and more slow with his dodging. Ink hiss out in pain as a tentacle caught him, stabbing his left arm. Ink grimaced and tried to focus on dodging the next attacks, having to summon all of the rest of his energy.

"Are you feeling tired, Inky?~" Nightmare mockingly cood, trying to get a reaction out of Ink in order to do the one thing he's been waiting to do since the very moment he laid his singlar eye light on Ink.

Reaction he did receive, as Ink scowled and swung at Nightmare to get rid of him. "Shut up, freak!-" Ink exclaimed, before he was stopped from swinging by a tentacle snatching Broomie — his large 5 foot brush — out of Ink's right hand's grasp.

"That's not very nice..~" Nightmare purred, wrapping a different tentacle around Ink's waist — pulling him forwards roughly.

Before Ink knew it, his body was pressed up against Nightmare's. "W-What the-" Ink started, before his vision started getting blurry. "W-What... are you do-doing to me..?" Ink asked, voice growing weaker as the seconds passed.

"Oh, Inky. It's a very simple sleeping spell. Anyone with magic can do it!" Nightmare said, answering Ink's question. By his frantic expression and movements — as well as his faint aura — Nightmare could tell Ink was quite scared. "Don't fret, Inky, you'll be very happy with me~" Nightmare wasn't the best at comforting, as you all could probably tell, but he was 'trying'. By 'trying', he wasn't at all; he just figured Ink would be very easy to calm.

Dream was too far away to see what was happening with Ink and Nightmare, so he was unaware and couldn't help.

Though, the amount of 'positivity' Killer was letting off in his aura was definitely concerning to Dream. While it helped Dream fight Killer and stay conscious, Killer wasn't worried. His part of the deal was already done, so now he would be able to get what he wants without any further questioning.
