Chapter 6: Two Alphas and a Vampire

Joe POV

It's been a couple of days since my near death experience and Moka giving me the kiss of life. I barely got her out of my mind and I genuinely think that I'm starting to fall for her.

The gang and I were currently sitting in an empty club room with miss Nekonome.

Nekonome: I welcome you all to the newspaper club.

Moka: Are we the only members?

Nekonome: Of course not!

As if on cue, the door opened and a lean built guy walked in. He had wild hair that was tied by a red hair band and wore the regular Yokai Academy school uniform. Although the open shirt showed a pendant of a wolf's head.

Wolf pendant, wild hair, smells like wet dog....definitely a werewolf.

Guy: Sorry I'm late! I apologize for being tardy, but there were some things I had to pick up.

He handed a red flower bouquet to Moka and a pink bouquet to Kurumu.

Guy: I'm Ginei Morioka, but please call me Gin, it's nice to meet you.

He then handed a flower to Yukari.

Gin: I guess good things do come in small packages.

I don't like him....

Nekonome: Anyway, Ginei here is the only other member of the newspaper club and he's also a sophomore. Since he's the oldest, he's also the club president. If you have any questions please ask him.

Gin: Right, I'm here for all of you.

Nekonome: I have a faculty meeting shortly, I'll leave the rest to you Gin.

Gin: Sure, I got it covered.

The teacher left and Gin started explaining what we would do.

Gin: Let me explain what the newspaper club us all about. First and foremost, the club writes, edits and publishes the school paper. When something happens on campus, we're there to report it, and we'll do anything for a story, that includes throwing ourselves into harms way if need be. So you better be prepared because this club is not for the faint of heart.

I rolled my eyes.

Joe: Dude, this is the newspaper club, not the "most competitive sports ever" club.

Gin gave me a bit of a glare which I returned, before he continued.

Gin: But of course, sometimes we just report on the normal stuff. With all that said, do any of you have story ideas you wanna share?

A bit of silence ensued until Kurumu was the first to speak up.

Kurumu: How about the peeping tom?

Joe: Peeping tom?

Kurumu: You haven't heard? There's this pervert who's been running around campus peeping on girls, most incidents take place when it's dark. The creep is so quick that no one was able to get a good description of him yet.

Moka: A peeper is the worst of the worst

Yukari: This guy has to be stopped.

Kurumu: Then let's use the newspaper to stop him.

Gin: Well then, first thing we got to do is find ourselves some informants. Joe?

Joe: What?

He hands me a quickly thrown together flyer that read: "For any info on the peeping tom, come see the newspaper club in clubroom 3-1".
