Chapter 7: Snow woman and a Vampire

Joe POV

The gang and I were out in the courtyard handing out the new issue of the Yokai Gazette.

Moka: Paper's here~ Get your own copy of the new issue of the Yokai Gazette.

Kurumu: This issue is hot off the presses people!

Yukari: Wait 'til you see what's inside.

Random Guy1: Hey, I'll take one.

Random girl1: Pass one over here too!

Random Guy2: They even got strategies for the final exams.

Gin: Wow, this new issue sure is selling like hotcakes isn't it?

Tsukune: Yeah, it's great after all the work we've put in.

Joe: All this work was bound to pay off at some point am I right?

After handing out the newspapers

Yukari: We did it! We really did it, we got rid of all of them!

Kurumu: Well looks like this issue was yet another big hit for us.

Moka: Hey you guys, what do you say we throw ourselves a party for once? We could all bring snacks.

 Joe: I don't see why not.

Yukari: Sounds like a great plan to me!

 Moka: Wait hold on, where's Gin?

Joe: He was here just a minute ago.

Tsukune: How strange...

Kurumu: Whatever. He's probably just out hitting on girls again don't you think?

I shrugged before letting out a sigh.

Joe: Looks like you can't teach an old dog new tricks after all.

Elsewhere

Gin was seen walking alongside two girls.

Gin: Right that article is pretty interesting. The newspaper club is looking for sexy models to do a photoshoot and I can get you an audition.

Back with the others

Kurumu: Forget about him he's not invited.

Yukari: That jerk's the enemy of all women.

Kurumu: More important what should we do for the party?

Moka: We could all buy some snacks from the campus store.

Yukari: Yeah! And some drinks too.

Tsukune: Okay, but no alcohol.

Joe: Oh come on! Don't be so boring.

Kurumu: So it's a plan. After class we'll all meet up at the club with the snacks.

A new voice caused us all to turn around. It belonged to a girl with lavender hair. Her voice was somewhat emotionless, but so very familiar.

???: You people are all buddy buddy aren't you? You newspaper clubbers.

How did I not smell her?

???: And you all like each other. Truthfully I've never understood that way of thinking.

Kurumu: HEY! What's that supposed to mean HUH?!

Joe: Kurumu, quiet.

Kurumu: Sorry.

???: Newspaper...Can I have one?

Joe: Do we have any papers left at all guys?

Yukari: No, all gone.
