3rd Person POV:
"Potter. Stop moping."
Draco said, standing behind him, trying to scramble his mind on what to say. He was never really good at saying something... sentimental or stuff like that. Especially not to Harry. But he hated feeling of the need to comfort for his own damn enemy. Makes him feel weird.
"Piss off Malfoy."
He said, heavily. Draco frowns.
"You need to get settled in. No school for a few days for you to adjust yourselves."
Snape said, standing then walking to the door. Harry stood up, not looking at Draco's face and went straight to Snape. Draco slowly followed the both of them.
"This is your chambers. It's dangerous for you two to stay apart at the moment. So, Dumbledore has provide a large bed, for the both of you. Your bond is still new, and it will lessen the need of being close for a few more weeks. Usually."
"A few weeks?!"
Draco almost shouted. Harry didn't seem anymore surprised, in fact, he went straight to the bed and laid on it. Draco was forcefully attracted to go to him, sitting at the edge of the bed. Snape turned to look at Draco, by then Harry was already asleep.
"Well yes, usually it is a few weeks. If you're unfortunate then a matter of a few months. But Dumbledore has already began the search of the culprit. It won't take long. Hopefully."
**
Draco was silent on. Looking at his fidgeting hand. Snape had noticed his arm, his dark mark that was full of scratches, cuts and much more. And with that, Snape sat down next to Draco, to meet his eyes.
**
"Listen. I will do everything, in my power for this to end. I know I've been overly harsh on you but... just know that I..."
Snape trailed his words, he looked at Draco, and all he saw was a little boy who'd always been neglected and never had a father figure. Lucious was a maniac. Could never be called a father. Draco was much like Snape, and for that Snape pitied him.
But maybe now, with him and Draco, he could give him a sense of fatherly figure, whether or not he wasn't affectionate of fatherly. He would try, that's certain. He would do better than Lucious, he thought, much better.
"I care for you, alright? I am no father, I know you think of that. But I do consider you as my own son, Draco."
Draco's mouth twitched, and frowned as his eyes had begun to be watery. He burst in tears and hugged Snape. Snape was shocked, and had never been hugged, so it was clear he had no idea what to do.
But natural instinct came, as he hugged Draco back. Nothing had to be said, they were just hugging as Draco sobbed onto his godfather's shoulder.
A few hours had gone by, and Harry had been awoke. He looked around and he saw Draco, on his back. Harry was covered with the same blanket as Draco. Malfoy probably put it over me, Harry thought. Maybe he isn't that bad to live with.
He looked around the room on his bed. It looked huge. Canopy bed, infront of the bed had a fireplace, a cozy carpet, 2 chairs and a small couple sofa. Each sides of the bed had a set of cupboards. Since Harry and Draco had already chosen sides, it was clear which one was theirs.
A tall big door. Infront of it was Harry's and Draco's belongings. Since he can't get far away from Draco, he had to teleport the bags to him. He unpacked his bags and put them in his cupboards with his wand. As for Draco, Harry grabbed his bags, and walked on his knees on his bed to Draco's side.
He carefully put the bags to his side, not unpacking them to respect his privacy. Harry was right beside Draco's sleeping body. So it was difficult to put aside. He had decided to put an arm beside Draco's body, and put his last bag down.
To Harry's luck, Draco shifted and eventually Harry's hand got stuck. Harry cursed to himself and tried to pull his arms from Draco's body. His hands were under his chest and it was an embarrassing picture. Harry had eventually got his hand out, and sigh.
He rolled his eyes and grabbed a book from which he had put on his bedside table after unpacking. Sirius's diary. Harry opened it.
January 31;
Harry became dizzy and had teleported back to Sirius's realm of diary.
The Great Hall was filled with laughter, and the Gryffindor's table was lit up by my jokes.
"Okay, okay. Let's play this or that. Spin the bottle, and whoever it lands on gets to ask a person this or that. Got it?"
I said with a wide smile. Remus was unbothered, still reading his book. I raised an eyebrow.
"You have to participate too, princess."
I said, flicking my finger up to his chin, smirking. Remus slapped my hand away in a playful way and I laughed. I spin the bottle and it lands on Lily Evans.
"Ah, the dearest Lily Evans. Something to ask James maybe?"
I tease her. She grumbles and narrowed her eyes on me.
"No, actually. I'll ask you a question Sirius, since you're so eager to play this game."
Lily smiled almost innocently. I shrugged
"Go for it."
"Who, in this table would you shag? But, you can't shag anyone else after you shag the person you have gracefully chosen. I know you're a bit of a player, Sirius. So I assume this will be a hard one for you."
Harry made a face. He never knew his mom would be such a... well it makes sense. She's a teenager and frankly, she's popular amongst her friends. Looks like it at least.
"That's all you got ? Easy. Remus."
Remus snapped his head up from his book. Never in a million years would he ever hear his name coming out Sirius's mouth for that answer. Remus buried his head in his books and blushed. Hard.
Harry was confused now. Why did Sirius say Remus? And why did he blush ? What was the dynamic here?
Everyone in the Gryffindor table shrieked and shouted. Eventually it spread to the other tables and everyone shouting 'Go Sirius!' 'Are you dating Remus?!'
"I'm not dating him. Yet."
Remus rolled his eyes and hit my arm with his book. I laugh loudly
