Chapter Five

Sierra

One month & 3 weeks later

I woke up early the next morning & headed to Daniels. Today was the day he gets his boot off! I'm so happy for him, but sad that i don't have an excuse to be over everyday.

Over this last month Daniel & i have formed  close bond. We are best friends. I know this is too soon to happen but i think i want to be more than friends.

I rang the door bell & Robert answer the door. "Good morning! Daniels upstairs." he said half asleep.

Daniel

I woke up to the doorbell ringing, then i heard sierras voice & instantly got a smile on my face.

I heard a knock on my door then Sierra walked in.  "Are you excited to finally be able to walk on both feet?" she exclaimed. "Yea, i guess." i shrugged.

"What's wrong?" she rolled her eyes. "Once this is off, you won't be over as much." i frowned.

She looked at me confused, "Are you crazy? we are best friends i'm going to be here everyday" she smiled. "To celebrate my boot coming off we should have a sleep over. That is if you're parents are fine with it." i suggested.

"I'm sure they won't mind." I couldn't tell if she  as blushing or if i was just imagining things. All i know is that i couldn't wait.

After the appointment Sierra headed back home to grab somethings for the night & i took a shower.

When Daniel invited me to stay over i felt these butterflies form in my stomach. Convincing my mom to let me sleep over at a boys house was easier than i thought, good thing she trusts me.

After i packed my back i headed to Daniels, but when i got there he was showering so I laid on the bed until he finished.

I heard the shower stop & the bathroom door open. Daniel walked out in just a towel wrapped around his waist. I must've accidentally been staring because i snapped out of it when Daniel said, "Take a picture it will last longer."

I was so embarrassed, "Why would i want a picture of you? Yuck!" i laughed.

He smirked & shook his head. After he changed , he laid next to me. "where am i gonna sleep?" i asked. He looked at me in confusion. "On my bed? well that is, if you don't mind sharing."

That made me blush "of course not." i smiled then got in a comfortable in bed. We watched 2 movies & talk until about 3am. I don't remember falling asleep, but i woke up with Daniels arms wrapped around me.
