Chapter Twenty-Six

Sierra

I walked upstairs & everything was basically already packed since we had just gotten here. But after I double checked I went downstairs to watch Sam practice his song with Nate. "All about the time and the work. Never finish second, always finish first" Sammy sang. "You sound great! What's the song called?" I asked. "Wassup" said Nate. "oh this is the song sam sang at new years, you really do sound great." I said. "Thanks babe!" Sam smirked and kissed me. I kissed him back, "so I was wondering if you wanted to do a YouTube video with me $ Daniel. I really want to start doing YouTube so I want my first video to be of the 3 of us!" I said. "Right now? Sure." Sam said.

We walked upstairs & into Daniels room. "We are gonna do the best friend tag to see which one of you knows me better!" I said. They both looked at me, "you both dated me so you should know all these js." I told them. "Hello everyone, my name is Sierra Grey & welcome to my YouTube channel! I'm so happy to finally start posting, for my first video I decided to do the best friend tag! With Daniel Skye & Sam Wilkinson!! But there's a twist, I'll ask a question & who ever answers it first, & correctly, gets a point. Who ever doesn't get the point will get whip cream to the face. Then looser at the end of the game has to go jump in the pool, So Let's begin!" I smiled & looked at both of them.

We finished the video & Sam lost. He jumped in the pool, "it's okay Sam. You're not a true boyfriend/best friend!" I laughed. He pulled me into pool & began laughing. After that we went upstairs to shower, not together of course. After the showered we placed all our bags in the car, then headed to Ashley's house to pick her up. Then we were on our way to the camp sight. On the way there I edited my video & everyone else fell asleep.

Daniel

We arrived at the camping place & we set up 3 different tents. One was for Sam's parents, one for the girls & the last one for the boys. It took us about an hour to get everything set up, then we all decided to head to the waterfall for a swim, Sams parents stayed to make hot dogs!

We climbed a really tall rock at the top of the waterfall, & Nate did a backflip off of it. "Your turn Sierra." I gave her a push. "Are you crazy? I'll do if you do it." She held out her hand for me to shake. I looked down, it was really high up, but I wanted Sierra & I to be close again so I had an idea. "How about we jump together?" I suggested. "I-I don't know." She said. "Come on Sierra, you can do it!" Sam yelled. She grabbed my hand & began to count, "on the count of 3.. 1...2...3.." She said then we both jumped. We landed in the water & swam to the top, "that was awesome!" She said. "Haha yeah, that was fun!" I said. She smiled than began swimming back to the rock. We did this for about an hour, then we headed back. We changed into dry clothes the ate the food they had prepared.

After that we set up a fire & roasted marshmallows. "Why don't you & Sam do a duet?" Sierra asked. "Do you play guitar?" I asked Sam. "I did. I'm not very good at it anymore." He said. "I could teach you to play Night Changes" I told him. "Really?" He said as he grabbed the guitar. It took us about 20 minutes to get Sam used to playing again, but he got the hang of it. "Going out tonight, changes into something red. Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress. Reminds her of the missing piece of innocence she lost" I sang as Sam played the tune. I looked at Sierra, she looked so happy. I wish she could be mine again. It was late so everyone got in their tents, Sam & Nate were super tired so they fell asleep.

A while later i heard something outside the tent so I went to go see what it was. "What are you doing?" I asked. Sierra turned around, "I can't sleep, so I was gonna go for a walk." She said. "It's like 2am.. You can't go for a walk alone." I told her, it amazes me how she had the guts to do that. "If you're worried then come with me." She said then began walking. I mean, I'm not scared of the dark, but of getting eaten by bears , a little. But I couldn't pass up the opportunity to be with Sierra, "okay." I said then we started walking in the trail. "So why can't you sleep?" I asked her. "I dot know. I just think too much at night." She told me . "Well what are you thinking about?" I asked her. "If I tell you please promise not to say anything!" She said. "You know I won't." I held out my pinky finger, she wrapped hers around it. "Well.. I love Sam I really do. I just don't know if I want a boyfriend right now. I kinda want to be single for a while. I know this won't work out since he lives with me & all." She said. "Well if you ever do decided that you wanna break up he could always move back to my house." I told her. "Sierra.." I began to say. "Yeah?" She asked. "Can you hold this for me?" I asked holding out my hand. She put her hand out & I held it, our fingers intertwined. She started laughing, "Daniel, you're so stupid" she let go. "hey! I thought it would be the only way to trick you into holding my hand." I laughed. She shook her head & laughed with me. "I miss you. We used to always have great times & we laughed a lot." She looked sad. I smiled, "yeah I miss that too. We should head back, it's getting late..or early.. It's almost 3am" She modded & we headed back to sleep.

Sam

We woke up early the next day, today we were gonna go tubing at a nearby lake. I know for a fact that all of us except, Daniel, knew who to do this so it should be fun. We grabbed our stuff & drove to the lake. Once we got there we drove the boat into the lake & began tubing.

First was Ashley, she was basically an expert. Then we tried to teach Daniel, "I don't know about this, maybe I shouldn't." He said. "Ugh come on! It's so fun, you have to." Sierra begged him. Daniel finally agreed to go on it with Sierra. Let me say he fell almost immediately, and it was hilarious. "It's okay you'll get better at it." Said Ashley. We tubed for hours then headed to our campsite. Our dinner today was fish, my parents decided to give us sometime to our selfs so they camped a few miles away. Most of us were 16 almost 17 so they trusted us.

Once the sun had set, Nate came up with an idea, "Sam's dad has beers. Do you guys want me to go get some?" Nate suggested. "I don't know.. We could get in a lot of trouble." I told him. "Well you don't have to drink. I'm going to get some." He went around to check if any were left behind. We all sat in silence, he came back with a few beers. "Who wants one?" He asked. Daniel & Sierra shook their heads, so Ashley, Nate & I each took some. "Sorry, but I don't want to be a part of this I'm going to the tent." Sierra looked mad. "Come on Sierra, don't be such a -" I yelled, before Daniel cut me off. "Really Sam? you're going to make her feel bad because she doesn't want to get drunk?" Daniel said then followed her.

A couple drinks later Nate & Ashley we're hella drunk. I drank slowly, so I was tipsu but not as bad as them. "Sam, you're so cute you know that?." Ashley asked as she got closer to me. "Uh thanks.." I backed up. "I've liked you for a long time." She said then kissed me. I kissed her back, & before i knew it the kiss turned into a make out session, only because I wasn't thinking right. Unfortunately Sierra picked the worst moment to come out of the tent, "Sam. What are you doing?" She yelled as tears began to run down her face. Ashley stopped kissing me, "Oh god. Sierra wait!" I ran after her. Daniel stopped me, "Don't. I'll talk to her just clean all this up, & brush your teeth you reek of alcohol." Daniel told me.

I feel so horrible for what i did, Sierra doesn't deserve any of this. I picked up all the beer cans & threw them away then i helped Ashley get to her tent. Nate was passed out on the floor. I drank tons of water & sobered up pretty fast, then I brushed my teeth and chewed gum.
It had been almost an hour, Daniel & Sierra still weren't back. I really messed up.

Daniel

Sierra took off running after seeing Ashley & Sam hooking up. She was really hurt over this, I after her. She eventually stopped running & sat next to a tree, crying. "Why? Why can't I just have a normal relationship with no cheating. I know, I've cheated before but never on Sam. I thought this was actually gonna work out." She said. I hugged her, & she hugged me back.

I just sat next to her & hugged her while she cried for a while, then she let go. "Are you going to forgive him? He really loves you & wasn't in the right state of mine. Although it doesn't justify what he did." i told her. "No. If he did love me he wouldn't have done that. Drunk or not. I don't want to go back, i don't want to see Sam, he's just going to beg for my forgiveness. I don't want to hear it." She told me. "The you don't have to, i'll have Ashley sleep in Sams tent & i'll sleep in yours." I said. I wiped her tears then helped her up, "okay." she sniffled. We walked back to the camp sight & Sam was waiting. "Sierra, please I'm so sorry! She kissed me I didn't kiss her first." Sam told her. "You kissed her back, I saw you. To be honest Sam I don't think I want to be in a relationship, I'm sorry but we are over. You're still welcome to stay at my house or go to Daniels. I don't really care." Sierra said as she went into her tent. "She doesn't want to sleep with Ashley. So I'm sleeping in her tent." I told him, then followed behind Sierra into her tent. "Are you okay?" I asked her. "Yeah, thank you for being here for me." she laid her head on my chest. "That's what best friends are for." i told her.
